This is the first episode I recorded and watched live. Technically I got on the ride the day Hearts and Hooves Day aired—February 11, 2012 at 5:00AM PST, to be exact—when Lesson Zero aired at spot #7 as part of the We Heart Ponies Fan Favorite Mare-a-thon. I started watching the show long before the S4 premiere, but I used to watch it with subs since english is not my first language

MLP was the first show I watched without subs, and then I started watching other programs and Youtube channels... Now I'm considered good at speaking english and I guess I have to thank ponies.

This was a pretty fun day, I had started watching MLP just a couple of months earlier, and through MLP I had found Doctor Who, so I also watched the Day of the Doctor on the same day, which was pretty great (I still regret not watching it in the cinema).

Princess Twilight Sparkle is a good starter episode if you look back to it.It feels like the 2nd part or a repetition of FiM,just with a serious touch.

Finale of the season 4. Tirek screaming PRINCESS TWILIGHT brings nostalgic feels to me.
I'd say seaosn 3 and 4 were the best seasons to get onto the ride. At that time there were multiple seasons to binge on during the first days of your pony craze, a sizeable amount of fan content created to explore and the activity of the fandom wasn't far from it's peak.
Oh, also tons of stories about bronkees spilling spaghetti and comming out as bronies to learn from, thank god I never made that mistake.

Same episode for me, Over a Barrel, the first episode that caused a pretty significant divide in terms of like/dislike among fans IIRC (good ol' Dave Polsky). And I did the same exact thing to watch it, except living in California, I had to stay up till... 5 AM? 6 AM? to watch the stream. Didn't the episodes air ridiculously early eastern time back then?
