Anyone who isn't interested in reaching the anarcho-communist state is a threat - they're in favour of creating an artificial shortage of supply purely for perpetuating their model of economics. Of course, capitalism has its time, when it's necessary due to inefficiencies in production . We're reaching the end of that, though.

It can't be given away. It HAS to be thrown out, because the government sees it as a health risk. If you didn't have that mandate, all that could be sold at a lower cost with the understanding that the food is bad, or really close to being inedible period. More people would have food if we didn't have government intervening.

Your study is percentage based. If you have 10,000 whites and 100 blacks, 1% of whites is significantly more people than 1% of blacks. Therefore, using percentages hides the actual number of impoverished whites vs. impoverished blacks, when whites are a significantly higher portion of the population, is shady as fuck.

Yes, a person from a poor background could go on to study at uni just as a middle or upper class person could. The issue isn't whether or not they can do that, it's how hard is it for them to do so.

It's incredibly naive to think everyone starts with the same opportunities. Growing up in a single-parent house where you don't have access to the internet and have to get a job as soon as you can to help financially support the family is clearly a very different situation to being born into a nuclear, middle class family.

Not that anon, but that's not really the system's fault. You would inevitably get that in any society where your people are free to choose how they want to spend their time.
Bad personal choices beget bad outcomes, and you can't blame the system for the fact that those decisions tend to affect other people as much as if not more than the person making them.
I still think we're as close to equality of opportunity as we can feasibly get, human nature accounted for. If it's as easy for a posh kid from the middle class to piss away his education and free time as it is hard for the kid in your example to work his way up, then it seems pretty fair to me, and I'd rather be shy of perfect meritocracy than step anywhere near the bullshit idea that is equality of outcome.

From my experience, I've found SJWs become less prevalent in the fandom over time. They just cannot maintain a presence when they can't use the show as an example to spread their beliefs such as Steven Universe. It's too traditional, and as the Derpy fiasco tells, they just end up getting other fans angry if they try anything.

The true irony, however, is in how a ton of the show creators/VAs are giant SJWs (Even Faust got corrupted by modern feminism) and try to go around and make up excuses for everything, but the writers, even the crappy ones, don't seem to care and they keep it as is. Either it's an unspoken rule set in stone from early on, or they're secretly heroes.

See the Soviet Union tried to do what you're suggesting, produce exactly as much as the people consume. Here's the problem with that. Bureaucracies are incredibly inefficient at predicting need like that leading to food shortages. Then you have the problem compounded by corrupt officials requisitioning the food for themselves leaving the scraps for the populace leading to the infamous Soviet breadlines. When dealing with food and a question of waste vs famine, it is better to produce in excess to meet demand than to try and perfectly hit the intersection of supply and demand and fall short.
