I've been to two cons, but don't intend to go to a third. 99% of the panels are shitty, I don't buy merch so the vendor halls are pointless, and half of the people in our demographic (i.e., adult males) are caught up in IRL shitposting as they wage autism wars with each other. The other half are smelly loners who spend thousands of dollars on VIP passes so they can be first in line to make Ashleigh Ball feel uncomfortable.
I've had some good times, but mostly it's a waste of money and time.
