Decently written green and/or prose from that year is a fucking myth. I can count on one hand the number of stories I've read that weren't the equivalent of pouring bleach into your eyes.

Why do people even use this "POV" thing in fanfiction? It's not like it makes anything easier.
>>30514808
It's the easiest way to show Anon as a capable fighter with out going into animu land tier justification.

I did it because I wanted to torn over a new leaf.
I didn't, I just shitpost under a different name now.

If you can't write sex, then don't lead up to it!
>>30514970
Now I want a fic where Anon is just some Navy Bosun's Mate who chipped rust and slapped on paint for a living. Still has autistic military tendencies but only combat experience was that one shitfaced bar fight in Manila.
>>30514448
I did this because I only had 1 story and I wanted to revise it so it wasn't as cringy and fucking stupid.
I never revised it cuz the general I wrote for died. Coincidentally I think I was the last writer who even updated. Not saying it was my fault, but damn.

I think you're forgetting 99.8% of mop fabric writers are literally autistic. They don't pick up on things like that.
>>30515935CARLOS!
Reminder. Unless you want the character to be a nudist, then Rarity making the human character's clothes is practically not optional. If he's staying in Ponyville, that is. All other cliche interactions, like working at Sweet Apple Acres, with the M6 is fair game for criticism.
That being said, it would help if writers played around with it more. Like Rarity makes the clothes, but the results are a mess since she has no experience with bipeds. Then Fluttershy steps in and makes very simple clothes focused on practicality. So Anon has to make do with robes, togas, cloaks, and similar ancient styled outfits.
Of course this is just a symptom of the real problem. It means the writer should be skipping over Anon arriving in Equestria and fast forward several months.

>Rarity making the human character's clothes is practically not optional
She has a lot of skill though, so shouldn't she be able to replicate the clothing I'm wearing with ease? If she used me as a model and then wrapped the fabric around me and studied it, would she not be able to make me new clothes, or are jeans and t-shirts complex and have weird fiber tricks to get them the way they are?
>anon is talking to his brain and his brain talks back
>>30516462
Not optional as in mandatory. But yes, she could roughly copy whatever you're wearing even if it's not her usual gig. They have sewing machines and magic. Even if they didn't have the machines, tailors throughout ancient history were so skilled that they were nearly on par with machines anyway. Alternatively you could have Twilight outright dupe your clothes, because she's shown multiple instances of transforming living things into other living things and objects - regardless of size I should add. Could be a funny subversion.

>Anon is talking to his brain and his dick keeps interrupting.

Possibly. It sucks reading a green and the very first lines are detailing how he unexpectedly made it to Equestria, brought to Celestia, setup the mane6 roles and bla bla everytime like countless others.
Would it kill to add some variety to your story?
