It's pretty inactive, sadly.
A lot of the music on the site seems to come from other archives that they imported.
They're part of Poniverse and apparently they have access to a lot of private stuff like the PonyvilleFM playlist and something called the Ponify Archive.

With MP3 for example 96kpbs would be absolute trash, but Opus is much more efficient, so it's actually surprisingly near lossless.

With the previous version (Opus 1.1), they did professional listening tests to compare it to other formats like MP3, AAC, Ogg, etc.

As it turns out at 96kbps Opus 1.1 was almost imperceptible on most tracks, but not quite.

For this I used the new Opus 1.2 which further improves the quality over 1.1, so now 96kbps should be pretty much transparent.

I scrapped the whole of Equestrian Beats (EQBeats.org) from their API (In all available formats: FLAC, MP3, OPUS, WAV, AIFF, OGG, ALAC, etc.) before they went down. So if you want you can have the whole 202GB of their music here. Including album art, metadata, etc. Only thing I didn't save were the playlists since they contained a lot of duplicates across every user.:
