ya ive heard that from everyone, and its true. it felt like it just kept going and by time i could see light at the end of the tunnel i just wanted it to be done. although some of the rushed feeling i think comes from people expecting chrysalis to betray everyone.

it was well received enough (until the end) that i thought id rewrite it in prose for fimfiction. if i do that theres quite a few areas i might change a bit and ill redo most of the end.

I didn't really expect her to betray them or anything, just that it wouldn't all happen so fast with no fluff no feeling of ceremony that some change is actually happening or him talking to Celestia about the changelings or something, maybe hear about his relationship with Twiggy piggy since she was there. Anon is sent into space to establish a wormhole gate for humanities expansion into space and touches down in the badlands south of Equestria. The Mane Six are sent to establish relations with the "metal bird" and find Anon building the gate and Fluttershy mistakes him for a creature from Equestrian mythology and tells the others he must be destroyed. They go down, and destroy the gate while Anon fights them back with a lacrosse stick. Twilight then contacts Celestia asking for an army while Anon sit furious at the sight of his cargo that's worth more then most planets. He then decides that he will build the parts he need for the gate and goes all Factorio, the rest of the story is Celestia trying to defeat Anon as he becomes more advanced and industrialized. It's played for laughs.

Here's the thing. When I read it for the first time, I loved it so much I made sure I spaced it out. And by love, I mean by the time I was done with it I had an epiphany and it literally changed my outlook on life. I'm not joking, that story was really influential to me.
