It concerns me. I think that Greg's burning out and making it his obligatory job is what made the negative MAS awful and uninspired. I hope that DWK continues to produce the series for fun; this is why I am glad he apparently doesn't feel obliged to stick to the strict schedule he had set. It should be fun for the sake of itself, never for money. The money is only a donation for doing what you would do anyway.

And re: Greg - he acknowledged that the MAS no longer fit with the current story and he was having a hard time working on it. His new project is coming along and will probably replace what MAS was, and possibly more.

This happened to me. But there are other people in my creative profession for whom it never became work—people who just do it for fun all their lives and the money, which they don't care about, follows—and they are the truly successful ones. I just hope DWK can be one of them and not someone like me for whom it becomes an onerous chore that saps my enthusiasm and creativity. Hold on to that childlike wonder and explore and create.
