>Season 1 had no shit episo-
>>30450349
>not liking this episode
>>30450349
>>30450349
I never got the hate for this and Over a Barrel, I enjoyed them both. Same for Show Stoppers.
Instead I absolutely hated A Dog and Pony Show, Call of the Cutie, the phoenix episode and the fluttershy/rarity episode.
>>30450349
The only two episodes I honestly didn't like were The Show Stoppers (because it simply lacked twists or turns to make the story more interesting) and Owl's Well (for starting a long line of episodes dedicated to toassing Spike around like a ragdoll)
>>30450366
dubs confirm that sage pony a shit.
If you don't like the show, why are you here?
>>30450484
>Not liking a handful of episodes means you hate the entire show
>>30450349
That's not the Spike episode
>>30450349
That's not the owl one.
>>30450349
I just dislike the moral ("you just gotta belieeeeeeve") otherwise I kinda like it
I remain of my idea that Ticket master is the worst S1 episode
>>30450722
Pretty bad that the first episode after the pilot sucks.
The premise was pretty stupid, though.
>>30450730
Ticket Master was the pilot episode.
It was the episode submitted initially to Hasbro as a sample of the show.
>>30450349
this is the best episode of the series
>>30451322
Why?
>>30450499
That's how shills think, anon. Don't bother trying to reason with them.
>>30451322
Bumping to hear explanation
>>30450722
I don't know, the gilda one was really shitty too
I mean, nobody really paid much attention because 'OMG GRIFFINS', but try to look at it now and see how bad it really was
Ticket master was shit too, mind you.
>>30450349
The lesson in Swarm of the Century would have fit better if Pinkie had actually tried to tell her friends why she was gathering instruments. She could have even argued her case early on and convinced them to help find the instruments sooner than she did alone. That didn't happen though and you can't blame the rest of the mane six for not asking why she was doing something that seemed nonsensical in an already chaotic situation.
>>30451859
So, first of all, the OP pic isn't from swarm of the century.
Secondly, what the fuck you double nigger
If there's one thing that they should've known since the start, it's to trust Ponka. Always.
>>30451881
>So, first of all, the OP pic isn't from swarm of the century.
I know. I guess I should have made it clear that swarm of the century was the episode I thought was shit.
>If there's one thing that they should've known since the start, it's to trust Ponka. Always.
I'd give you that if this episode had came after feeling pinkie keen.
>>30451901
Well no, Twilight had no reasons to trust her then, but everyone else's been aware of Ponka's gypsy powers since the start.
Really, when has Pinkie's ever let ANYONE down?
Sure she doesn't always make sense but whenever she does something, it turns out to be right and that she's been doing it for the right reasons, even if the means aren't always clear.
>>30451822
People debated who was really in the wrong at times when we just had Season 1 to discuss.
>>30451859
>>>30450349 (OP)The lesson in Swarm of the Century would have fit better if Pinkie had actually tried to tell her friends why she was gathering instruments.
Anon, she tried but nobody listened to her. Pinke herself complained about that during the episode, remember?
>>30452210
No all she did was try to convince people to help her find instruments, not as to why they actually needed them.
>>30452232
Applejack: So you knew what those critters were all along, huh Pinkie Pie?
Pinkie Pie: Well, duh! Why do you think I was so frantic to get my hooves on all these instruments? I tried to tell you.
Twilight Sparkle: We know, Pinkie Pie, and we're sorry we didn't listen.
>>30450349
What is "Owl's Well That Ends Well"?
>>30450349
t. atheist who is still salty after six years
>>30450349
This episode is actually one of the best in S1
>>30452210
>>30452385
This is one of those retarded "you have to listen to what that weird guy says because that might be important". But in reality, nobody listens to what that weird guy says exactly because in 99,9% of the cases it's not important.
>>30450349
>>30450349
it is pretty dumb
>>30450349
What the hell happened to the basement anyway? We haven't seen it since this episode or rather since double rainboom.
>>30450349
It was about women's intuition, not religion.
>>30450349
Why the fuck did Twiggles find it so hard to accept pinkie sense when magic's all over the place? Magic she can't understand or study or predict. And her line of " I will not believe in anything I cannot explain. " is totally out of character for somepony who acknowledges she has a lot to learn. Fun episode, shit lesson, shittier writing.
>>30454366
Because Pinkie Pie is a dumb weirdo and telling that weirdo that he's important is offensive for a normal person and even more offensive for a serious intellectual.
>>30451334
>>30451707
you just gotta BELEEEIIEVE
>>30454307
didn't the tree die
>>30450349
There are shit episodes. Only shit fans.
Like all the ones who like [thing you don't like]. They're just the worst.
>this was the most controversial thing on the show at one point
>>30450349
Who the fuck says season 1 had no shit episodes?
>>30456605
The strawmen made by people who can't handle people criticizing later seasons do.
>>30450349
I like the way Twilight's lab looks. I love the way the roots are everywhere and even used to how things up. There's a bookshelf even built into the tree itself in the background.
I miss when we got imaginative buildings like this.
>>30450349
I think Suited For Success was the shittiest episode because it was a mandated one when everyone thought Faust&co were in control of it and delivering a message in their favor.
>>30450349
That was a good episode
>>30456605
objective reality.
>>30456648
we still do
>>30461602
>Owls your path
>>30458825
suited for success was good
>>30461612
owls isn't a verb
>>30461635
owling
the action of owl
>>30461656
nah
A dog and pony show was probably the baddest episode. A complete lack of charm and real story.
>>30462105
nah it had charm and a real story
>>30450722
Fuck off, fedora cuck.
>It's not about religion!
>people posting fedoras
Hmmm...
