I've just imagined a group of people with Blade Runner merch, cosplaying as replicants or whatever, reciting the infamous monologue "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe..." while they wait in line, only to pretend that they're not bronies. Just to sneak into the room with the pony movie a few minutes later. I cringed super hard.

How did they not realize they fucked up after they uploaded it and why didn't they just fix the goddamn trailer. Most people aren't going to scour the internet for a german trailer for the correct version, the US version is what most people will see and it's terrible.

My usual cinema does lots of nerdy event shit on the regular -- anime showings, quote-alongs, etc -- and is even attached to a comic book shop. A horde of adult MLP fans in scarves isn't going to be out of place, and I half-expect them to do something to dress it up as an event. (The "half" is because I don't know if they'd opt for a Blade Runner thing instead, that night.)

I wish the book didn't exist, but if we're going to be spoiled, at least it's better to be "spoiled" reading a proper book than just reading random excerpts here and there SNAPE KILLS DUMBLEDORE. Come to think of it, I just posted the Harry Potter meme, and that's the prime example of a movie that everyone watched after reading the books. I hope that the book is well written to make it worth it, but I like Berrow, so I'm not really worried about that.
