I'm seeing it with a friend who doesn't watch MLP. She knows the characters and watched like one episode of Season 2 and was into G3 when she was younger but other than that she's going in completely blind. She said the animation for the movie looked nice so why not go see it.

I think it'll be fun, I saw Rainbow Rocks in theaters and it was a nice experience.
