It's pretty easy to write a bot that draws outlines first and then fills it in.
It would be harder to emulate loosely organized crowd of people filling in large monochrome areas in a way that would fool someone who's specifically looking for bots, but if all you're expecting is a simple bot or people, it's not hard to fool you.

I see two possible futures as far as the ancoms go.

1. As Brazil increasingly becomes bored and more of Brazil leaves, they continue to grind (like us) and build back up ever slowly and steady until they reclaim. If this is the scenario, they are not a particular threat and we continue to deal with their grief.

2. As Brazil dittos as number one, the Ancom's take advantage of that fact and try to claim the Hue flag as their own, OR a rival takes over and let's the Ancom do what they want as far as their old flag was concerned, and they maybe become emboldened and more people join in, in which case we should expect larger raids, rather than petty vandalism.

I opt to hope for option one.

I've observed the same thing. It's all about the timing which makes it psychologically effective.

The shorter the length of time that a pixel (work) remains on the canvas, the less value it gathers. It being quickly removed signifies the worthlessness of it and it becomes very psychologically frustrating for the one trying to place it, rather than the person changing it back.

So you should always strive and make sure to time it so YOU can change it back immediately after them, not the other way around.
