Neither can you and you prove it by repeating this opinion. Otherwise it was quite informative and I do give you credit for being right about the IDW end product, the comic, can't be made great by a single person.

It's all about teamwork. Director keeps the every magazine story in line with the theme. Writers make something interesting to read. One artist makes line-art while another may color. Editing and proofreading to polish off mistakes.

As for Pencils ability to write stories it's all about taste and obviously not yours. Neither are current S7 writers to my taste. Worse than Pencil: Fluttershy spending a whole episode failing to express herself and solves it by being a rude jerk.

I was never really interested in his comics, however I will say that I really do like his art a lot, and I envy how much care/time he is able to put into making those great pictures in large quantities (compared to myself).
