I really wasn't expecting Juniper to remain a villain after her punishment in Movie Magic. She was so sweet and enthusiastic when she was introduced, I was surprised they turned her into a pissy grudgeholder for Mirror Magic.

Dance Magic and Mirror Magic were ok. Movie Magic was definitely the weakest of the 3.

I like the movie format EqG used for the first 4 films, but I would be lying if I said I didn't really enjoy the "episode" format of the specials. I just wish there was enough gas in the tank for EqG to run alongside MLP proper.

I want to know more about the Mane7 in that world and the episode format would allow for that kind of expiration more than a movie, which has to work as an ensemble and have one overarching plot.

The series would need to develop their world and make it more relatable or interesting.

It still has not done that after all this time.
