I know the show will never explain it but there's a dire sense of closure I need now for how they died.

I like to think they died during a flood or some other natural disaster, trying to help save the farm.

Maybe their deaths aren't related to each other, just really shitty circumstances. Just combine the two scenarios: Pear Butter died in childbirth and then Bright Mac died due to an accident on the farm.
