>What was your initial reaction to it?
I didn't like it. When I saw what the ponies looked like as humans, and especially the high school setting, I was about ready to off myself. I did watch the first one via a stream a little while after it came out and it was lackluster. It wasn't particularly terrible, but it wasn't good either. It had afew good songs and the rest of it was meh.
>What about it keeps you watching it?
They really picked it up in the second movie. Shim sham is a favourite of mine. The songs are actually pretty good, so I enjoy that aspect. The animation got a lot better after the first one and so did the overall quality.
>Favorite Movie?
Rainbow Rocks. Great songs, good villians and some good subplots.
>Least Favorite?
The first one. It's just so...stupid. The plot is contrived and dumb and the whole thing is just bad.

Haven't actually seen them yet, I've been pretty busy with exams and I didn't care to watch it with subs. Going to watch them real soon though.

Some of the designs still bug me, like vinyl. I'd say my biggest sperg out at them was the love interests. I mean, for fuck's sake, don't give my waifu a fucking love interest multiple times. It's completely out of character for her.

I'd be sad, but not devestated. I still like pony a lot, so cancelling EQG would be, at most, a little depressing. Now, if pony was cancelled, that's be another story.

It's effectively just more pony. It's the exact same characters, the setting is just a little different. I can accept that.

Rainbow Rocks. The other two after it really should have taken a lesson about having the villain front and center. They really suffer from having the bad guy show up in the last ten minutes and getting blasted with a friendship laser. The Dazzlings presented a clear threat from the get go.

The first one. It's so garbage that I think I still have a word doc filled with all the plotholes I noticed.

Haven't seen them. Will get around to it, but not looking forward to some more Glimmer wank.

Dance magic was okay because of more waifu material and a great song, but the second was worse than season 1 owlicious episode.
And third one was a-okay, because I love glimmy and shimmy, but Juniper and the plot were absolutely thrash.

Well, if they make it a serie, I hope it gets better than the specials, for one.
But there's not much that really bothers me. I mean, I would've loved for shimsham to have a better redemption arc, instead of making everything happen off screen and finishing it with RR.
Also I hope they don't force that romance too hard. I get that scitwi isn't twiggy, but it still rubs me in the wrong way. Mainly because seems retarded, I'd actually be okay with her fucking Flash.

Less highschool SoL and more action.
The fighting scene in friendship games was fucking 10/10, my cock was hard the whole time, but sadly it only lasted for two fucking minutes.
Also Discord. I want to see Discord.

Yes. It'd means less Shoichet, and less Ingrams.
I don't see how anyone would think it'd be great to have less of these, especially since Ingrams obviously LOVES working on EQG.
But story wise I don't really care. I'd love for shimsham to go back to horseland and talk to Celestia tho, but other than that idc. It's not like there's anything in there, yet. The bad guys are all dead.

Still haven't seen the specials. I'm just procrastinating and I can't find a link to then in English anymore.
The only thing that bothers me is the constant romance and Scitwi's existence.
I want to see their powers get stronger, see Sunset make amends with Celestia, see more characters from FiM, like Moondancer, that we haven't seen in EG yet, and see Sunset's counterpart.
I'd be pretty bummed if the series was cancelled.

Weary curiosity. By the time word got out about Equestria Girls the show was dead to me, and the humanoid grasshopper designs were terrible. I watched the first movie and didn't find it as terrible as the show. Then I watched the second and was hooked.

The nice designs. The hair, costumes and poses, plus I want to know what the fanart I'm browsing is about.
Also while it doesn't keep me watching, the Humane 7's characterization is much better than their grating pony counterparts, and that helps not losing patience with the movies.

Rainbow Rocks. Great music, great animation, gorgeous sexual villains, and a creative intro. It's the best piece of media in this pony generation.

Legends of Everfree. Neither the outfits nor the music appealed me. Only Gaia Everfree's song and visuals were good. Perhaps I just don't like the camp theme.

The people who say the series is mundane aren't entirely wrong. There is much more they could do even with the high school setting and they established far too much without explaining it (like glaring things such as "how do these magical incidents at this high school manage to sail under the radar"). Also the other Humane characters besides Sunset and SciTwi get brushed over.
