So, how many of you are going to BABSCON2018?
This'll be my first chance to even go to a con, so I'm pretty excited. How was 2017?

I went to their first con because I was curious and it's only a twenty minute drive away, but I'm such a shut-in that I didn't talk to anyone and didn't have much fun. Mostly played Smash and got Tara Strong's autograph, then left.

>amidst the sea of autism and odor of code red and cheetos, anon is on a mission
>he virgin walks stiffly to his destination and leaves immediately
>the fursuited neckbeards and skellingtons in cosplay follow him with curious, judgmental stares
>"...Fucking weirdo."

My life has never sounded so romanticized, thank you for that.
Any ausfags going to babs next year?
>>30333830
Nope
Not Babscon in specific but con related; I'm planning on going to a con this year. Never been to one before, I'd appreciate some headers from anyone about, well, anything related. Also would it be worth the $60 entrance fee for a shut-in autist like me.

Isn't there one is aus this year?

>going to a convention for a dying show and dying fanbase

Ohh that I think there is one happening soon
I really want to go to a con at least once before the fandom dies, but I just dont think ill like it going alone.
When I went to events with highshool and college friends the best part was always doing the shit together, the roadtrip, searching for a place to eat, the shit you do at the hotels. I went to some things alone after we drifted apart, and its just not the same. Plus have no one interested in mlp I can go with.
It doesnt even have to be people I know beforehand, I once went alone to a LAN, met a group there and we decided to just do everything together and it was just as fun, but most times I dont find such a group.
The only way I think ill enjoy it is if we make an /mlp/ group and meet up there and do shit together.
Also, Id have to actually fly to america for this since there isnt a single mlp con in my country.

I've gone like three times. Meet some really friendly people, partied hard, and enjoyed just looking at all the pony merch/cosplay/ and going to the events. I basically never get to talk about pony where I live so this is my one time of the year I get to. No regrets.

are there realy a bunch of places you can hook up, and sekrit orgy parties?
>>30335829
oh hells yeah, normie mcdudebro!
that's what brony conventions are KNOWN for, my guy!
>>30335270
Same, If there was like a opening day party for people going on their own I would consider it but otherwise you'd be walking in to a room of already formed cliques.
