Miller has been around since S01 and he knows exactly what's the show supposed to be about. He could have stopped the retarded changes introduced after Faust and Renzetti left but he CHOSE to allow them to pass and if you check his twitter, you will see him saying that not only he keeps saying there's absolutely nothing wrong with the show but he's also 100% proud and he don't care at all if somebody dislikes what they do.

Cook ran the comics into the fucking ground with just three arcs (Reflections, The Root of the Problem, The Good The Bad And the Pony). Fosgitt, Anderson, and Whitley were just various forms of desecrating its grave. Notice how none of the issues you mentioned were beyond the first year.
