It's limbs flailing about as it releases a hellish scream. The leader looked horrified at this.

If a futuristic you came to you and said you'd have an injury and be stuck on the ship for some time you would've done everything in your power to avoid being injured.
It's been a month and a half of boredom, there were plenty of books and video games to look at, but there wasn't much to do on the ship. Which started to make you think about getting alien entertainment onto the ship when you stop at places.
Nothing much has happened though. The most eventful thing was Kahurangi having grown slightly: Now half the size of your legs and the full size of Quiet Vine's and Eagle's legs. Her heat also grew worse, to the point that Quiet Vine had to start giving her pills to help with it, which worked successfully for some time now. Her voice has also grown a bit deeper, along with her attractiveness, though she was still mostly adorable.
Hearth's Warming Eve was now only a day and a half away. Quiet Vine being extremely insistent on decorating the ship for that, which helped with the boring, monotone of the ship. Though you now had to start thinking about the play you wanted to do for it, which you really haven't.
You were currently in your room going through your Aquastallion comics for the first time in a while. With the Aquastallion movie coming they didn't have a lot of time to make the comic books.

You look down at your leg to find that the brace for it was now flashing with several different lights. It makes a few more noises before suddenly coming off.

You weren't too surprised by this though as Quiet Vine's wing brace did the same thing when it healed two weeks ago, though she still decided to remain up until Hearth's Warming was done.
You get up and trot out of your room to tell the others that you've healed up. You were quite excited for Hearth's Warming, and to show Cardea, Kahurangi, and Moana what it was all about. Especially the kids, who would probably need to know a bit more about Equus culture then the language. You also needed to get Eagle to sing for the crew.
You soon find Quiet Vine and Kahurangi in the kitchen, setting up the tree for Hearth's Warming. You were a bit worried about Kahurangi though as she has been complaining about back pains for a few days now with no signs of it getting better.
You notice that Kahurangi's leg brace was off too.
