Great. Here's to the first post of this here Fallout cyoa.
That's what this is, right? The first post?
.....
Whatever.

So here's how it's gonna go down. This quest or whatever this'll be will use minimal points n' statistics n' all that good nerdly stuff. it's so easy a child could understand it.
You guys pick the background, the stats, races. Whatever you want. Except maybe alicorns. Cuz fuck em. I'd nerf it hard if you wanted alicorn.

So...back to stats. Or your S.P.E.C.I.A.L.

>Strength - Raw physical strength. A high Strength is good for physical characters.

>Perception - The ability to see, hear, taste and notice unusual things. A high Perception is important for a sharpshooter.

>Endurance - Stamina and physical toughness. A character with a high Endurance will survive where others may not.

>Charisma - A combination of appearance and charm. A high Charisma is important for characters that want to influence people with words.

>Intelligence - Knowledge, wisdom and the ability to think quickly. A high Intelligence is important for any character.

>Agility - Coordination and the ability to move well. A high Agility is important for any active character.

>Luck - Fate. Karma. An extremely high or low Luck will affect the character - somehow. Events and situations will be changed by how lucky (or unlucky) your character is.

Your base stat for any of your SPECIAL is 5. You get 5 extra points to allocate between your attributes, so a total pool of 40 points. Your attributes can range from 1 to 10 with 10 being good and 1 being shit.

Strength - 5
Perception - 5
Endurance - 5
Charisma - 5
Intelligence - 5
Agility - 5
Luck - 5

Extra points: 5

Any suggestions? Questions?

What do you guys think? Are you fine with using this? Do you want to remove the points system? Or would you like to make things a weee bit more complicated?
>>
>>30256809
Will there be ways to permanently increase special stats?
>>
>>30256933
Sure you could. You can permanently increase special stats by leveling up or doing something very spectacular

I want Pip to make me her little mare
>>
Strength - 3
Perception - 8
Endurance - 4
Charisma - 5
Intelligence - 6
Agility - 7
Luck - 7

How about this?
>>
>>30257152
This, maybe take 1 from Charisma and put it into Agility.
>>
I'' just wait a bit longer to see if anyone else will make a suggestion.
>>
>>30257265
Good point
>>
>>30257152
I think you should take one point out of perception and put it into intelligence but this otherwise works for me if you don't want to change it.
>>
Strength - 3
Perception - 7
Endurance - 4
Charisma - 4
Intelligence - 7
Agility - 8
Luck - 7

This what you guys want?
>>
>>30257569
I can say that's what I'd go with.
>>
>>30257569
this looks good. We're a scraggly nerd that's good at running away from bullies.
Time for our revenge!
>>
>>30257569
That looks good to me.
>>
>>30257592
>>30257601
>>30257610
Alright then. If yal are satisfied with the stats then its on to the race and background.

If you can't think of anything then here's a few races.
Ponies are the obvious ones. Can't be a cyoa quest on /mlp/ without them. There's also Alicorns, zebras, dragons, Hellhounds (Diamond dogs on steroids or the Deathclaw equivalent), Brahmin (two headed muntant cows), Griffins (why is it griffin instead of gryphons?), changelings, minotaurs.

If you want something with a little more description then look at this.
http://falloutequestria.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_species
>>
>>30257704
I vote unicorn.
>>
>>30257704
I think a nerdy/sperg Griffin would be neat. I'm not sure how he/she could fit into the Wastes? They could work as a hacker for some merc group.
>>
>>30257704
Brahmin, or maybe unicorn.
>>
Looks like it's Brahmin, Unicorn, and Griffin. Gonna make a strawpoll.
https://strawpoll.com/ee85rge

Should I put it in the /cyoag/?
>>
>>30258101
>Should I put it in the /cyoag/?
Probably not. There are a few people there who sabotage strawpolls then brag about it.
>>
>>30257784
I can get behind this. Being able to fly and being innately good with bits might offset being physically weak and not the most charming individual. Also, too few griffin MCs.
>>
looks like unicorn is going to win by a lot. shame, playing a griffin would have been something new.

(how the heck would we play a two headed character?)
>>
>>30258273
Maybe we can convince the QM to give griffin extra consideration considering only one person has picked unicorn in this thread but two of us have chosen griffin?
Come on, FOG. Be a pal. Friendship is magic.
>>
>>30258273
>(how the heck would we play a two headed character?)
You would have control of one of the heads. It would work something like the Hydra MC in Pleeny's Shattered Planes CYOA.
>>
Playing a griffin would be cool. I voted in the straw poll for griffin, but there's still a one vote lead for unicorn.
>>
>>30258331
>Go against the votes
It doesn't work like that.
Besides choosing a race because it is rarely seen is silly.
>>
>>30258273
I didn't know cyoa's required affirmative action and the only reason to play a griffin is "for something new."
>>
>extra consideration
Sure?
Unicorns will start with only their natural telekinesis and dick head flashlights and maybe an extra spell or two depending on your background.

Griffins can fly and have hands. Can pretty much use almost any weapon.

Brahmins have two heads, which is better then one.

Not going to include stats for them unless you want those.
>>
>>30258444
is there a cut off for voting?
>>
>>30258525
Cut off?

Geez it's still at a tie. How is there so many votes?
>>
>>30258535
I considering unicorn took such a strong early lead I wonder if there is samefagging for the griffon side
>>
>>30258548
How's this?

the last digit of this post will determine which race you are

1-5 for Unicorn, 6-0 for Griffin
>>
>>30258563
Congrats. You're a unicorn. Now think of a background.
>>
>>30258571
I vote stable, it lends to being nerdy.
>>
>>30258581
I concur.
>>
>>30258581
Weren't there a select few Unicorns serving the Enclave?
>>
>>30258680
Rogue Enclave accountant?
>>
>>30258680
Yes, but those weren't exactly stable ponies. Could be an Enclave uni that lost their cloud walking enchantment.
>>
I was told I would not need prior knowledge of the fallout games to understand this. I feel lied to.
>>
>>30258710
Technically, we're talking about FoE's canon. Just deciding on the MC's starting point.
>>
>>30258700
This then. Sounds more interesting than your typical stable dweller. Even though Enclave unicorns are only a Project Horizon thing.
>>
>>30258718
Won't I need to know about fallout to understand fallout equestria. I want to play fallout but I can't find a copy that will run on Wine. Maybe I should see if I can find a dos version.
>>
>>30258759
Fallout is basically just a post-apocalyptic RPG. Most of the unique stuff would just be lore that references the source material, but doesn't rely on it, and whatever mechanics the QM uses. It's should be easy enough to fill in the blanks since the story is most likely going to follow the adventures of somebody equally inexperienced to you.
>>
>>30258718
I don't know anything about FoE except that it's long, autistic, and isn't very faithful to either source material. I don't like this.
>>
>>30258571
>Now think of a background.

This is a bit too big of a thing to let players decide all at once. Maybe just have us pick a couple of traits and attributes right now just like in Fallout?
>>
>>30258812
Quick rundown of starts mentioned:
Enclave- Refers to organization from Fallout 2, 3, and NV. A fragment of Equestria that survived the apocalypse and rebuilt having recourses, a military, a government, etc.
Stable- References Vaults from all Fallout games. The place where the citizens of Equestria ran to when the bombs started going off. Those that got in lived their lives and had children in whatever their safety their shelter granted them. Those that didn't were lucky to die peacfully.

Wasteland- Probably is going to be the play area for most of the quest and we'll learn about it as our MC does.

>>30258853
In that case I choose stable. I have some knowledge of the vaults from reading the manual and it seems more interesting to come from anyway.

Not him, but Fallout 2 was objectively the best one.
>>

1. I will admit I have not really looked very hard. I played a tiny bit of it on a shity controller on a plane trip though.

>>30259185
Oh I see it downloads the whole game. I suppose I can take the half a gig hit if I play enough to justify it.
>>
>>30258710
>>30258759
If I do this right you shouldn't need any prior knowledge.

We'll go with the Stable/Vault then as opposed to the Enclave horses.

>>30258845

>>
>>30258845
depends how deep you want them to go on background.
if it is just stable vs enclave the players can easily decide on that.
>>

You can choose to be a blank flank or to have a cutiemark.
>>
>>30259836
I say we play somebody who just got their cutie mark in exploration. perfect excuse to leave the stable.

Shit nigga. Is it really that bad? Why do you think that?
>>
Navigator. Navi for short.
hows that sound?

most pony names have something to do with talents. it is also a much simpler task with the guidance of a talent.

how about Jetstream Navigator?
>>

If we do go for it though then
>>30259853
we could have a map floating in the breeze as our cutie mark.
>>
>>30259853
Maybe we got our talent when we rediscovered a forgotten room in the stable. call ourselves discovery.
>>30259920
>>30260006
discovery navigator maybe.
None of these names so far roll off the tongue very well.
>>
>>30260130
New Horizon
>>
>>30260130
Trail blazer could work but it is so god dam cliche and expected.

Maybe just call ourselves Dora as a reference to the explorer.
>>
>>30260145
Maybe
>>30260172
scratch that. I found only two images on derpi for the name. I just assumed it would be overused.
Still thinking about it I like the idea that our name is focused on discovering things not so much general exploration.
>>
>>30259809
Could be a feature of our stable that there is a different naming method.
>>
>>30259836
We should play an equalized filly.
>>
>>30260372
That's silly. Your silly
>>
>>30260351
I don't like that idea but I do like the idea we be called dora in honor of dora the explorer.
>>
>>30260472
encountering an Equality vault would be interesting.
>>
>>30260172
Cliche and expected, you say? I like the sound of that.
Path Finder.
>>
>>30260517
Maybe. Then again path finder sounds more like we find the way to things rather then finding new things. although I suppose our talent could maybe be adjusted to that.

Or just make our talent more board and call ourselves a general explorer.
>>
Does being an explorer really fit our nerdy stats?
>>
>>30260541
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dora_(given_name)
>>
>>30260541
Hm maybe not.
maybe we can join a team of explores and be the guy focused on the fine detail stuff.
>>
>>30260565
How about a linguist?
>>
>>30260565
Oh maybe archaeology. It would fit in with >>30260130. We found a forgotten room in our stable.
>>
>>30260541
That's a good point, actually. We obviously need a chess-themed name.
>>
>>30260581
That is a very unbelievable backstory, considering that the stable is is a stable dwellers entire world.

>>30260604
Now chess is something we can work with!
>>
>>30260581
I like archeologist. We can have the name hidden door because we are especialy good at finding those (still good at general archeology though)
>>
>>30260619
Maybe but how else would an archeologist earn her cutie mark in a stable. Why would a chess master leave the stable?
>>
>>30260636
Sealed well known environment =/= finding lost/forgotten places. That's for the QM to figure out.
>>
>>30260636
>Why would a chess master leave the stable?
You DO know that the story of Fallout and the design behind the vaults is such that any shmuck or John Doe or fucking Ugg Ogg the spearchucker can be conscripted to go out and find the water chip or lost vault for little to no reason, right?
>>
>>30260670
You do make a valid point.
>>30260667
I don't see why there cannot be a door that was sealed off and forgotten about though. How large is a stable anyway?
>>
>>30260680
It'd have to be a sealed off section to warrant any mystery, but that would mean something major happening in a sealed environment and than things stabilizing long enough for people to stop giving a fuck about the sealed off area.
>>
>>30260703
True.
I am starting to form an idea for how we could make archaeology work though.
alternatively we could just not worry about how we got our mark and just focus on what it is. In most cyoa you never discover how the mc got their mark.
>>
>>30260722
Hell, we can leave the stable on a quest to discover our CM. Makes sense considering how limiting life in a stable is.
>>
>>30260745
>Cutie Mark Crusaders Vault Dwellers
I'm... surprisingly okay with this.
>>
>>30260745
ooh, maybe the vault 'ejects' us because we couldn't contribute to the community.
>>
>>30260745
I would rather a cutie mark already to explain why we leave. something that we just cannot do in the stable, whatever it may be.
>>
>>30260776
But, if we can't do it in the stable, how would we get it in the first place?
>>
>>30260794
See
>>30260722
We don't have to know how we got it.

So at the moment it looks like the 3 options are
>explorer
>archaeologist
>blank flank
>>
>>30260776
But Anon, that's for the ending, when after months out in the wastes risking life and limb for the future of our beloved vault- our precious home, the light that guides us on our harrowing journey, we return with the Mcguffin we needed, our heart bruised and our spirit tarnished by the terrible things we saw and did,
but still happy for the first time in so long to be home, we are greeted by the smiling face of our Overseer as he congratulates and thanks us for all we've done, only to tell us that we're now too mentally disturbed to be allowed to live in the vault any longer, at which point we go mad with grief and blow half his body off with an energy weapon, then stalk off into the barren wilderness to start our own primitive society based around our unique talent. All to the tune of '50's pony music: our only company as we slowly trot off into the radiation-filtered sunset.
>>
>>30260814
>We don't have to know how we got it.
You actually do need to know how you got your cutiemark. It's pony logic.

Shackles. He though they were coming to get him They're actually OPEN shackles. As in, he escaped slavery.

He tried to escape, got his mark, quickly got caught, and saw his mark and figured he was doomed to be a slave forever.

skim the walkthrough and look for someone doing a speed-run on youtube.
>>
>>30260915

but yeah maybe some sort of courier.
>>

I was thinking more like coms are good enough in the vault and movement of goods so rare we are not needed so we make our way out into the world. That could make a good plot point at some point though.
>>
>>30261165
NV's main character was called "The Courier", so that was to be expected.
>>
>>30261181

>>
>>30261335
Aww. Wait, doesn't he kinda fit the character we're trying to make? Could be our ancestor.
>>
>>30261366
Maybe. I am not a huge fan of post haste as a name anyway because I think we should focus our advertisement on getting the job done more then speed.

still not a big deal, I prefer safe delivery but either name works.
>>
So what do we do if we take a job but find the recipient of the package dead?
>>
If we do go mailpony it is worth noting we have 4 charisma. We won't be a bubbly type. That or we try to be bubbly and it fails.

Thing is it is 4 char not 3 so we could just be a little rough around the edges which could be fun.
>>
>>30261655
I was going to say the low endurance could be a problem but since we are starting as a foal we can easily explain that away.

Why not go stealth focused? Or weapon-crafting. Seems mailmare is the popular choice for CM/profession, but one of those other things could be a secondary skill or whatever. Stealth might actually complement mail delivery (in the post apocalypse). Or survival.

>>30261157
The mail always goes through. pic related

>>30261518
Give it to the next of kin. If that's not possible, I suppose we'll have to track down their soul to give the package to. Or return to sender, but where's the fun in that?

>>30261655
I think an edgelord mailpony would be funny. At least in regular Equestria, maybe not so much here. The humor lies in incongruity. Just being a bit gruff (like you said) is probably a better idea.

Right though, name...

Have you guys come to a consensus on the name, the maybe a cutiemark, and colors? If you haven't then I think it would be best if I started you guys off as a blank flank.

Questions?
>>
>>30263527
I think the consensus seems to be package delivery or some variation of that for a special talent. We got so caught up in origin we forgot about the mark.
As for name I also like secure package.
>>
>>30263527
You never said anything about color!
>>
>>30263527
If it's not too late to make some suggestions:
Cutie Mark: Parcel wrapped with chains and lock (like how parcels are more commonly wrapped with string and bow)
Coat: Beige
Mane: Blue
Magic: Yellow

And I was the one who suggested Secure Package.
>>
>>30263931

>>
>>30263931
This. Although, I still think a raider cutie might be more interesting, I don't mind being a mailmare. Though, I prefer being a blank flank since I don't see delivery being needed much in the Stables.

Big clans of raiders and slavers need a courier for news, deals and the rare cases of diplomacy after all.

So what do raiders do exactly? is it just a fancy word for bandit or do they actually focus on raiding settlements? I don't have much fallout experience.

More like 'Mongol.'
>>
>>30266450
they raid households and less defended settlements. Some of they games mention whole settlements completely wiped out by them. Sometimes they up and make a base out of them, and you find mutilated bodies of people they tortured to death for fun.
>>
>>30266450
Raiding villages and killing others inside their territory along with scavenging when necessary. Some do slavetrade or grant passage if provided with compensation but that's rare.
>>
>>30266509
>>30266523
>>30266526
Ah thanks.
I think it would be more fun to work against them then with them. sneaking through enemy territory to get to the other side and whatnot.
>>
>>30266585
unless they think you are 'one of them' they pretty much will shoot you on site(and sometimes even if you do)

Slavers aren't much better, but are usually more businessmen than psycopaths. They can be reasoned with, though not cheaply, and they just might try to put you in shackles if they think they can push you around.

Given our stats we should avoid both for the early game. Probably shouldn't pick a fight with slavers, since they tend to be more organized, and might retaliate.
>>
>>30266585
Raiders are almost everywhere so that would only be a very short term solution. That and trying to work with them would be more interesting, what with more job opportunitys and all that. Constant sneaking would get old very fast.
>>
>>30266526
You forgot about the raider's "artistic" sense.
>>
>>30266623
Don't forget that they're the most intelligent of the canon fodder enemies.
>>
>>30266627
Most only do it to mark their territory. Fallout 3 and foe to some degree went full retard with the raiders, depicting every single one of them as psychopaths on drugs that shoot everyone on sight.
In 1 and 2 you could almost always reason with them to some degree. I just hope we will be able to outwit/reason with some given our stats.

You are Secure Package, adventurer investigator extraordinaire!
At least this week you are. Last week you were a delivery filly, but that got old real quick. The ponies working maintenance were sending you back and forth to fetch tools, but your legs got tired from all the running.

Today you’re delving into the darkest depths of the Vault air ducts. Armed with nothing but your wits, your heavy flashlight and your lucky compass, you continue onwards. Your destination? The abandoned bunker of Overseer’s Past. ooOOOOoooooh!

...Well it’s not really abandoned. It was a newly constructed hallway that dug out to make room for more ponies, but was closed off some weeks ago because of...something? You don’t really know the reason. The Overseen never explain why he did it, but gosh darnit you’ll find out soon enough!

“ *hack!* Gosh it’s dust in here.”
You continue onwards, carrying your flashlight in your magic in favor of your leg, said leg you use to protect you snoot for the dusty air.
You push against the ventilation cover and cringe as it loudly clatters to the cement ground. What lays before you is the half finished hallway. Colorful electrical wiring hand from the ceiling. A utility belt buried under some miscellaneous parts you can't identify. A few sliding doorways left unfinished with their heavy doors leaning against the walls. Pointing your flashlight down the hall you see it splits into two more. One to the left, one to the right.

Gripping to the edges of the vent, you carefully lower your body and fall to the floor. You’re here. Now where should you start….

Sorry for the delay. Had to step away from the computer longer than I’d like.
>>
>>30267867
Check the doorways, the rooms they're supposed to open into should be at least partly dug out right? If not mostly finished and/or having something interesting in them...
>>
>>30267867

Walking up to the pile of metal bit you use hoof and magic to dig the utility belt out. Why it was buried in the first place you don't know, but who cares. You have a (moderately) cool utility belt with a bunch of tools! Just like Bat Mare's Belt of Holding!

You trot about the hall and explore the few rooms that were left open. During your search you find 36 bits (sweet!), a hard hat with a head light, and a gun and...
....wot

You found a gun. A real real REALLY real gun! That probably shot real bullets! It's so cool! It's shiny and heavy and metal and stuff. Oh gosh oh gosh oh gosh oh gosh oh gosh what do you do? Shoul-of you keep it or leave it o-

Your train of thought is interrupted by some strange noise emanating from the hallway. From which one you can't be certain, but you THINK it might be coming from one of the two you've yet to travel down.

There it goes again. It kind of scares you. Should you head back now and attend your Cutie Cinerea party? It doesn't start in another few hours last you check. Or will you continue exploring?
>>

Go back now? Heck no! Today you are an adventurer investigator extraordinaire, not a scaredy filly. And hey, a little noise is nothing you can’t handle.
Lifting the gun close to your face you try to discover how to operate the thingy. You've never held a gun before, but you have seen the security ponies use them during practice. Just point and shoot. R-right? A-a-a-and they do stuff to the bottom to put bullets in or...something.

“What if I, no. Maybe.”
“The heck is this - what am I missing!?”

To immersed with banging the gun against the wall, you fail to notice something enter the room.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3XwWIepDRp4

A strange croaking noise emanates from the doorway making the hairs on your neck stand. Panicking, you throw the pistol in the direction of the scary noise and dive behind the couch, also losing your flashlight as it rolls to the other side of the room. You hear a ‘clink’ as the pistol hits something before the gun discharges causing a bullet to wildly ricochet around the hallway.

Rolling for PER...10. Crit fail
Feeling around your belt in the dark you attempt to figure out what you had on the belt....but in the process you accidentally knock something heavy out your belt as it clatters loudly to the ground.
The hoof steps stop along with the croaking noise.
There's a pregnant pause. Not sure what's it doing, but you have a gut feeling it's trying to find you in the dark.
It continues walking again, but this time closer to your position.

>>30274967
Thinking quickly you use one of your bits and toss it to the other side of the room.
'tink!'
The monster pauses before turning around to investigate.
While it's preoccupied you try to sneak your way out...

Rolling for AGI...3. Pass
You managed to sneak past the monster in the room unnoticed as it continues to move furniture around in search of that bit you threw.
You're currently in the hallway..

We also can't be eaten by these monsters if we leave. (only one we know of so far, but there's no way it's the only one in these halls) We could try to get a gun some other way than from this sealed off construction site and/or come back soon with someone we trust as backup.

This whole thing's already going to put a damper on the party. Plus we have to think twice before we tell anyone we were exploring here. Surely the Overseer knows about the monsters already, that would explain why this hallway was closed off.

gonna level with you OP.
crits in quests/cyoa generally don't go over well. a large, intricate plan made over several posts and many hours can go up in smoke because the dice said 'fuck you' once. It's not fun for anyone.

Dice themselves aren't a bad thing, they're pretty necessary for this type of cyoa. But I highly recommend you do without crits, good and bad. Instead give us narrative bonuses, for a well thought out action and roleplaying, as well as penalties when we try something blatantly stupid.

You gotta get out of here so you can tell everyone about the monster!
What if there's more? Why hasn't the Overseer told everyone about this? Why is it still looking for that bit? Like seriously it's been searching for like a minute now...

You'll think more on this once you're safe.
As quiet as can be you sneak back the way you came with you head light off. Wouldn't want to alert the monster of your presence. But wait!
The vent is too high for you to reach! How are you supposed to escape now? You could try to move the crates and furniture around, but that might alert the monster!

It can't end like this! You never got your first kiss, or got to celebrate your Cutie Cinerea, or other cool stuff you were going to do.

I spent some time thinking about this, because I'm one of the oddballs who actually likes having crits. But OP seems to be using d10 (roll under) for determining actions, which seems perfect for this cyoa. But it does not mix well with crits, as a 10% chance for every single roll is too damn high. So I agree with you despite liking crits in general.
>>
>>30282562
Yeah, I've used crits in the past, but they feel too punishing with most dice. It eventually got to the point where I'd reroll on a crit and then if THAT was also a crit, I'd go with it. It just didn't feel fair enough otherwise.
>>
Sneaking back into the first room with is no problem. Re-entering the room you fail to find anything useful. Drat.

Leaving the room you head back to room 3, but stumble on a pipe. Luckily you prevented yourself from falling and stay on your hooves, but you notice room 2 is silent. For a while....
After a minute of silence, it continues to rummage through the room. Cautiously you continue on your way.

This time you find a weapon! It's a crowbar that was left on top of a crate. How could you have over looked this? Who cares, you're armed and in charge a
...
S-shut up. That totally rhymed.

Now to figure out how to escape this place and get away from that...thing.
But what about the gun? What if it finds you again and you need it? Gosh you really will need that. Don't want to end up like those ponies in those scary movies.

With some trepidation you quietly walk back near the entrance of room 2. Using your horn, you conjure a weak light source and search for that gun.
When the heck did I throw that darn thi- ow! "Hey what's the..."
You look up but realize too late you weren't whispering, as you gaze upon a jagged metal face a few inches from yours....

You are currently fleeingmaking a tactical retreat down the left tunnel and bawling your eyes out in fearplanning your next course of actions as the creature is now perusing you, croaking like some possessed, SUPER monster frog. Monster.

You have an idea.
Turning on the headlight on the hard hat, you toss it down the other end of the hall.
It worked! The monster chased after the light! Now to someplace to hide.
Except, you can’t find any. Not a few steps after tossing the hat, the ground transitions from the typical cement or metal floors of the Vault to bare rock.
You silently curse the construction ponies for not carving out any rooms to hide in.
Eventually you reach the end of the excavated tunnel to what looks like a collapsed wall leading into a tunnel. You’re a little winded, but you could probably still leg it if needed.
Noticing the change in illumination you turn around, seeing a light source approaching.

As you’re backing away, your hind hoof slips off the edge, momentarily making you to lose focus of your crowbar and drop it as you nearly fall into the tunnel.
Luckily you catch the yourself on the edge of the collapsed wall.

The light from the hard hat you threw earlier blinds you as the thing approaching you. What will you do?

Did it just talk?
>>
>>30305393
It's saying it'll help us? Why did it suddenly speak now?
>>
Feeling well enough to post.
>>30300589
It's like a bad trip, I think. Everything is intense, hard time breathing, nightmare fuel.

Funny thing, I once hallucinated about a washer machine. It was horrible. And not funny.
>>
>>30305393
Did it say our name?
>>
>>30305393
It said it wanted to help us. We are gonna die whatever we do if its hostile so we may as well trust it.
>>
>>30305393

Tell it not to come any closer.
>>
>>30305393

Said it would help us and knows our name ("Pack" is actually a cute nickname, now that I think about it) so let's see what the dealio is

Plus Pack doesn't sound like a synonym for balls.
>>
>>30306826
We should try to use that aspect of our name for intimidation. A little harder to find ways to do that when you lack male genitalia but we can manage.
>>
>>30307098
Get a large dildo and threaten that we will secure our package up there ass if they don't cooperate.
Or better yet make it none sexual and get some boots with our name on them. Secure on one boot and package on the other.
no idea what to put on the other two boots.

Delivery service.
We can deliver our service so far up their ass they [insert rest of threat here]

Anon in FalloutEquestria?
>>
>>30324043
I haven't seen it before, could have a lot of potential. Could be played a /lot/ of different ways.

showcasing the shallowness of my knowledge by not knowing about the hundreds of anon in FalloutEquestria stories that already exist
>>
It's been 3 days, bumping past this point may be raising hopes where they should not be raised, have a sage
>>
>>30324043
No
>>30324333
Again no.

Anon in FOE is forbidden...
unless you want to trigger the entire FOE community. Thats sometimes interesting

Shit has it really been 3 days. Time to allow it to die I guess.

For the boots I am thinking put the words on the bottom. Forced people onto the ground and show them the words. Hope it does not turn them on (which considering you are appealing to multiple fetishes there will likely happen a few times)
>>
>>30331511
If they do we tease them about it. Ask what exactly is it that is turning them on.

Whomever posts below who is not the QM or his replacement shall forevermore be cursed to make stupid decisions in whichever cyoa they play; let the dead rest, and sage, it's been five days on the first thread, he's not coming back with another bump

Well they already say I make stupid decisions so why not.
It hurts so much. It had so much promise. But yeah best to sage.

If it weren't for the light hindering your vision, you're sure that you would faint from its probably nightmare inducing visage.
Your ears pin to the sides of you head in fear.
“Stay back. You, you monster! I'm Packing, so let me go or else!”
It disregards your mild threat and attempts to pull you up.
Still partially blinded, you feel a hoof touch yours. Instinctively you pull it out of the monster's grip, but with only a single hoof to support your weight, you begin to fall….
You get the wind knocked out of when your body finally kisses the ground. You lay there, moaning in pain. Your visions a vivid cascade of agony and more agony.
