You turn off the pod lighting and look down at the computer screen, seems it did sustain some damage to a few critical components, you don't think it could handle going all the way up to the surface without repair... And that would probably get the creature's attention if you did anyway. But it should be safe if you stay close to the seabed. The battery is still at half capacity and it uses fuel cells like the auxiliary power source of the sub, so you've got that covered.
You never piloted one of these, but it shouldn't be that hard, you have some experience driving a personal submarine after all.

After looking for any other modules you could disconnect to save power you leave for the sub and reach it without any monster looming over you this time. Back in the sub you meet back with everyone, lights are back on and that damn siren has finally stopped.

You dismiss Agathe and move over to the bridge, the glass is still all cracked up but you figure out it spent hours like that without budging so the probability of it failing now is slim.

Sonar is pointing at the radar.

Agathe tenses and tilts her head at you.

From what you can remember, there are quite a few diving suits intact for all races and you have enough supplies to go there and back a few times over, what do you choose to do?

You look around at them.
"I already do know none of you have diving experience apart from Rusty when we went to the other half earlier... I'm not going to ask any of you to accompany me."
You smile at them.
"I'll go alone, safer that way with the monster roaming around."

Rusty comes up to you and gives you an earpiece "Here, now tha' the power back on ya should be able to use the voice comm'"
You nod and head off "I'll update all of you with what I find."

You put the ear piece in and head down to the diving suits, promptly putting the one you had discarded earlier when you came back inside the submarine.
As you're about to head out, you can hear the earpiece static before a familiar yet distorted voice comes in.

The door opens and you step back onto the familiar ocean floor... Now how are you going to get to that sub? From the looks of it it didn't look far, but at least a 30 minutes walk.

You don't waste much time before you start to walk toward the sub, looking around only to see emptyness. After a couple of minutes you decide to contact the others.
"Hey... Can you hear me?"
>Sonar:"Yeah Coral, you're coming in through just fine."
"Say, you don't know if there's any animal around this area? ...Other animals than that monster I mean."

You look around again, nothing... Not one living being, apart from you.

You gulp nervously and keep silence for another few minutes before speaking up once more.
"Say... Agathe, why did you choose to join this mission?"
