This is fun. I'm enjoying Luna using her magic to train Moondancer. You'd think this would be a game for earth ponies, but unicorns (and alicorns) would probably have the best drills. I bet unicorns would be very desirable as coaches and trainers.

More old English lessons: "thou" is not a direct replacement for "you." There's also "thee." Consider "he/she" and "him/her." There's also "thou/thee." It's easy to forget because now we use "you" for both the subject and the object. Here's an example that might help you keep it straight:

Compare to:

Yes, thou is the subject and thee is the object.

Also, there's the issue of possession. The possessive of "thou" is Not "thou's," but "thy" or "thine." Both "thy" and "thine" are acceptable. I think "thy" is a little more recent, but if you just pick one and stick with it, that should be good. I believe Luna said "thy," though.

is it illegal for unicorn players to use levitation in any sport unless its a position specifically tailored to them? Like holding a racket in their mouth rather than levitating it.

I always thought a unicorn could use a little magic here and there, at least in hoofball. Like a unicorn quarterback could use their magic to give the ball some extra spin as it left their hoof.

Don't know about straight up levitating it though. The moment they get tackled they're going to lose concentration and drop the ball. In fact, a player could probably pluck a levitated ball right out of the air with good timing... Unless the unicorn has strong levitation, in which case they'd just get dragged around while they held on to it.
