Well it's supposed to be a full budgeted movie
the reason we see Lyra/bonbon/derpy and the others everywhere in FiM is because they don't have the time to make individual ponies in the background every time.
So, yes lyra and bonbon and shit will certainly appear in the movie, but not sure if we'll see them anywhere else than in ponyville.
