A Royal Problem
Glimmer is starting to grow on me, I really liked her in this episode. Also the two sisters' dialogue and interaction was fun to watch.

Most everything has been pretty good so far, except the Flurry one. The yak one was only okay, too. 10 or 12 is not bad at all.

That was probably my least favorite so far, honestly. Parental Glideance and A Royal Problem were great though. A lot of decent stuff in between, but I didn't watch the AJ episode yet.

holy shit, that was the worst episode. 20 episodes of flut getting over her shyness just to have another one where the writing is so lazy, they actually tell you 'she's changed' yet the whole episode was about her workers sniffing their asses and flut failing to convince them to stop. the problem only starts getting solved when the animals autistically shrek the hospital, then her friends are up their own asses as well (with their super appealing signature character traits that don't get mentioned enough) and try to ignore flut to the very end? most episodes are shit but this one was a fluttershy episode.

Both the royal sisters episode and Parental Glidance. Latter was probably the only time I've ever enjoyed cringe humor, and I liked that it wasn't one-sided.

This episode pissed me off, but in a comedic sort of way. I had no complaints about it as an episode, but the sheer amount of miscommunication of the first team Fluttershy brings in is just hilariously frustrating; they literally did the exact opposite of what she said to do, basically violating rule #1 of design.

flut has gotten over her shyness 50 times already, character development only happens with insta-princess or i'm good now vilains. otherwise, the writers would'a have to give actual personalities to the horses other than them spassing out with over theirsingle defining character trait. they're completely 1 dimensional and will never change, even with buttwings.

Both are overall one of my favourite episodes in the whole show now.

2. Fluttershy Leans In
3. Not Asking For Trouble (or, if "so far" doesn't include the leaks, Forever Filly)

she is stepped all over because no one takes her seriously, which is the base of the problem for every shy fluttersy episode. they directly tell u she's not shy and perfectly capable of having her opinion respected at the start.... but not even her friends give a flyingfuck at the end? development.

she's not mare enough for her opinions to mater is what the episode is about. It's implying how crippling it is for her to still be seen as a doormat, shy horse.

until the other horsies respect flu ass a beautiful, capable mare who needs no man, which will never happen, she will keep having shy episodes. how else will the writers have it done?

the writers have every horse doomed to be shapped for 1 facet of their character. what defines them makes it so anyone can pick off a few characters and write a new, totally non-repetitive, episode with complete regard for maintaining'development'. only glim glam can save us.
