I could see Cheerilee and Donut Joe being a cute couple. They'd both have to get up early every morning together, and Joe would pack Cheerilee a fresh donut every morning. I could see some cute story where Joe had to leave primary school to help his parents' bakery, so he never finished his education, and Cheerilee helps him pass Equestria's equivalent of the GED.

I was pretty sure there were a couple Cherilee x Twilight Sparkle (Cherilight? Twilee?) fics so I did a search on Fimfic and found these two
