Seriously, who (other than the autists themselves, that is) thought that it would be a good idea to get a bunch of people who's defining trait was liking a show for little girls? I get that the con organizers were also autists and saw that there was a profit to be had, but what about the show staff? I get that there is money to be made but is it really worth it?

A lot of them were offshoots run by people who run anime conventions as a way to rake in the extra brony bux. Can't say I didn't have fun at the local one, cons are just an excuse to drink yourself silly and semi sperg out about shit you like. Hell, you can even meet some pretty cool/chill people if you just hang out at the hotel or convention center bar for a while.

Well, actually at another con this year, Everfree Northwest, Nicole and a few other VAs were there and it seemed like they were in good spirits. The bants between Tabitha and Nicole was Aussie-tier and I even managed to get a kiss from Nicole on the cheek while getting my wooden katana signed :^)
