Episode 1 is fun because it brought back the Shadowbolts, but other than that it was nothing amazing. 6/10

Episode 2 is easily the worst of the three. Even for a scooby doo episode it could have been written better. 4/10

Episode 3 is the best. It's fun to see Sunset and Starlight interact. They were really cute together. It had an actually interesting plot compared to the other two, and we even got a "boss fight" out of it. 8/10

Overall, I'm a bit disappointed. Though I will definitely watch them again with the original VAs. I appreciate poland for airing them early, and whoever recorded and subbed the episodes, but the voices really threw me off. No disrespect to the polish VAs, I'm just too used to the real voices. So I might like the english episodes better.

I haven't seen them as I'm waiting for the English releases, but from what I've seen and read on here, they look good.
Ishi has foreshadowed a lot about Sunset that hints that we will be getting a lot more Shimmy, so we will probably get an EG show.

For all that they officially try and keep the two series apart, the whole cross-dimensional thing is actually kinda fun more often than not. I don't think MLP would survive if they merged the two completely, though. Better stuff like this.

Dance Magic: 6/10.It's fun but the Shadowbolts themselves are kinda meh to be honest.

Movie Magic: 9/10. I feel like I'm in the minority here but this episode felt the most pure fun out of the bunch. Mostly everyone got some good limelight and jokes and it was just a fun ride all around.

Mirror Magic: 7/10. Easily the best thing Glimmer's been in. Actually made her character watchable. More could've been done with the concept though.

I only say Mirror Magic out of interest for ShimGlam but I was pretty disappointed. At least in the second half, first half was pretty great. Pony Sunset was hnnng incarnate and I really liked her and Starlight getting along. Last half fucking nearly made me rage quit because, of course, even Sunset has to be captured so that Starlight can save the day on her own and have everyone jizz out about her afterwards. It's irritating as fuck that the writers consistently put down others to prop Starlight up with these high-stakes plots and killed the momentum of the episode for me. I just wanted more Pony Sunset and SoL Star-Sun interactions, but now I just want a single instance of where Starlight CAN'T save the day on her own and needs to cooperate with the Mane 6 at some point.

I'd give it a 6/10 PURELY for Sunset hooves which I would kill for more of, it'd be much higher if not for how the threat was resolved.

EQG is really boring now, a series would be at best rehashing the show but with Sunset instead of Starlight.

1 surprised me and was a really solid Rarity story, which was needed since EQG hasn't done Rarity well much.

2 was the worst, it's supposed to be a Rainbow Dash story.... and she's the most incompetent character in it and fails at basically everything.

3 was the best, Starlight and Sunset play off each other really well and just having them on screen together was well a treat.

An EQG series would be fucking great. Get over the fact that there are no hooves and let based Ishi lead the way

1: 7/10. Its okay, Rarity is cute and the shadowbolts were okay. Dislike the overly sugary ending.

2: 7.5/10. Dash and Twilight are cute, and overall a decent scooby doo plot.

3. 4.5/10. Sunset as a horse is great, and she's a cutie. Unfortunately, Juniper is the worst villain YET, is a generic "Magical insane idiot" antagonist, and FUCKING YET AGAIN, LITERALLY halfway in the special everyone else gets fucked so Starlight can save the day.

can we fucking ONCE get a situation where Starlight doesn't get shilled by everyone else getting worfed?

The villain is the worst yet, the plots are weak and jump around, and the third one degenerates into a "starlight glimmer saves the day: electric boogaloo" plot.

We also got chrysalis, but sadly she's more or less been sacrificed to starlight as her personal nemesis.

Yeah, but Tirek got his ass-kicked, bringing him or Chrysalis back wouldn't feel ok.
Both of got utterly defeated, leting them have a come back and have the upper-hand until the end would make all the character look really dumb (they already looked dumb when they got kidnapped by the changelings, specially Celestia and Luna who got captured by the third time).
If they could come up with a good enemy that would be good, they could used the crossover idea. Someone that realised the dimensional conection and the bits of magic that traverse into the human world, maybe do the same that Scilight did but in a more competent way
