You posted it. I love Dash's first dress. Her dress in the second Gala was nice too, but she looks absolutely gorgeous with this. With that thingies in the legs, and the other thingy on the head, and that beautiful mane. She's so beautiful.

It seems to be inspired by ancient Rome. The leg ribbons look like sandals, the ear thingy resembles a laurel crown and the necklace seems to based off of grapes. The puffy cloud texture at the edge of the dress is an excellent touch.

I also love Pinkie's dresses. They're very cute, especially the hat and I'm not at all bothered by the candy.

Aw, you're right. Fug, I'm so slow. She only wears them on the front legs, and I thought that they were supposed to be some kind of bracelets or something. But yeah, they're totally Roman sandals, I see it now.

My only problem with Pinkie's first Gala dress is that it looks too puffy. It's more noticeable compared to her other dresses, I found a nice pic for reference (ignore the watermark, I found it on Google):

Other than that, I think that the style, cheerful but not tacky, matches Pinkie perfectly. And the hat is my favorite part too.

This one is probably my favourite of Fluttershy's dresses. Peafowls are my favourite species of birds and the colors match Flutters extremely well.

This one is great too. Call me a fedora tipper but I'm kind of disappointed that a hat like this one (with fitting outfit) is unacceptable to be formally worn. Which is probably the reason that these dresses are so neat in the first place; it's something different from your average suit.

Haven't posted Applejack yet. I must say I don't really like either of her dresses. Pic related looks too rigid, as they used brown leather or thick cloth to work her hat into the design and it's just too gloomy. Also there's too many apples on there. I do like what they did to the hat and the apples, and I probably prefer it over her second gala dress, which had a top hat, roses and old style puffy arm thingies.

Actually her coronation dress is probably the best. Great color palette, looks cute and both old and new at the same time, and as with all of the coronation dresses, the feather is majestic as fuck.

From Rarity's gala dresses, I like this one more. I'm no fan of tiaras, and her over-the-top hair is very neat. The gems work well and all in all it's a much more fitting color scheme.

Man, I love this dress so much. Unlike Fluttershy's, it helps to excentuate and show off her wings(which is understandable for Fluttershy). The colors make the light blue stick out better. Her accessories are the best because they aren't over-cluttered like Fluttershy's flowers and theres enough unlike the lackluster display from Twilights. On top of that, they tie into the pegasus theme from the show while still being able to stick out with the gold laces and laurel. The dress doesn't cover up too much of her skin which leaves enough to not have her get lost in the dress itself and keeps her the focus instead of the dress itself. It's the perfect dress for her, enough flair that it'll draw attention, but simple enough that the focus isn't fully on the dress.

The bright white of it doesn't blend well with her coat, but the gold helps with the matching of her eyes. Sure, you could make a claim that the white in her hair should lend well to the dresses correct, but the white in her hair is so small that it feels overpowering and draws away from her too much and brings more focus on her instead of the dress.
