Equestria goes through an industrial revolution and eventually declares war on the neighboring Zebrica for their coal reserves. It turns into a holy war for the Zebra due to them believing Luna is still Nightmare Moon.

tl;dr Twilight reverts back into a Unicorn, everything except for season 1 and a small chunk of season 2 becomes non-canon and everypony except for Fluttershy and Celestia end up dying.

There's a reason the other 5 have been far less focused on in a mystical manner of specialness and just been focused on in a "moral friend" sense of specialness and been left out of finales/premiers.

Pinkie and Applejack... didn't have any big goals. You could say they had the lives they wanted already and their non-journey has been about maintaining them (e.g. fending off Flim Flams). Tbh, it's all good. Shows you can have a good life without being at the top and should not feel bad about not aspiring to be.

It's a slice of life show, it doesn't have an endgame. It's not like Samurai Jack or Steven Universe, where you can sit down and say 'yes, the endgame here is that Jack gets back to the past.' Sure, characters have goals that they complete or change, but the show isn't built around said goals. It's built around the characters going through their daily lives. It's going to continue forever without an endgame until it finishes.
