she most likely saw the path Sunset was taking and nudged her into the EqG world to "cool off" until Twilight activated the EoH, defeat Sunset and create that worlds EoH, becoming the guardians of that universe
the past couple seasons have supposedly been about building relations with other "nations"
EqG definitely counts as such, so Sunset is more of an ambassador between those worlds (if EqG leaders knew about the mirror) or something like that, a lead in the study of the EqG universe anyway

Actually I'd have liked the ending M6 song if it hadn't been half a song rammed up against another half song without even attempting to match. I've been hoping for someone to release an extended edition of it. Same for the Siren's side too. It played nicely into the movie, but makes for terrible listening.
