I really enjoyed the Accord arc in the comics. The visuals were amazing and actually really intimidating in parts, and it was nice to get some proper focus on Discord as a character and his place in equestria.

Story flaws aside, MMC's songs were top-notch, and I would have accepted Celestia's Ballad as a worthy send-off to the show if it had been the series finale. That said, I'm glad the show kept going so we could have seasons 5 and (so far) 7.

Speaking of musicals, I've been surprised by how little harm a lack of songs has done to the current season. The writing has been strong enough to carry the stories on its own.

The only thing that upsets me about the EQG specials is that I have to spend an unknown amount of time avoiding spoilers so I can watch them in English. Don't want to wait much longer for pony Shimmer and human Glimmer.

I guess I'll say this. As much that I do despise a number of things that I've seen that happened in and to this show for the last few years, you fuckers are the best part about it. The countless hours of drama, fighting, artwork, and other stupid shit that's been created here has been fun, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Also, I don't have a favorite or best pony. All of them are pretty damn alright in their own right.
