yeah, the book. emphasis on THE. wasn't it some one of a kind book. when twilight researched for the elements of harmony she found it in another book which just stated, refer to the mare in the moon. and spike commented on how that was just an old ponys tale.

there's literally nothing that says the luna was known by all to be celestias sister except for the book twilight was reading. which seemed to be a old and one of a kind judging by it's pages.
