id say middling, right around number 6. It had a huge pseudo culture impact that was quickly overshadowed and ceased to be covered or culturally important in the western world the second the trump election campaign and that ongoing shitstorm started. It didn't influence other cartoons style or writing in any normie tier obvious ways, so really outside the brony shit it had almost no cultural impact. People think it started this trend of "its ok to like kids shows again" but that had been on going since '04.

Probably not very high due to bias.
Remember, we're almost 7 years on and there are plenty of people that STILL get buttblasted whenever they see a cartoon horse on the internet.
Without bias it would definitely make top 10, top 5 being less likely.

Squarely in the middle. Somehow, unlike a lot of other popular cartoons (GF, AT, SU), the quality of MLP has remained relatively consistent. Its highs aren't as high as the other, but I don't think it has lows quite as deep as those other shows.

Also remember that this show has 7 seasons, which is pretty damn long.

MLP FIM and Adventure Time are the shows that had the most influence on modern shows, between making cal arts style shit popular, whimsical shit popular, magical girls popular, and lore driven shit rather than action or straight comedy popular

Just about every kids show since has tried to emulate aspects from these shows in some way no matter how different an approach

honestly, as someone who would nerd out on looney tunes reruns on nick whenever they were on - as someone who caught the original run of the simpsons and never missed an episode drop - and i nerded out over countless series after - it's #1.

i mentioned the simpsons because i honestly think this show is right up there with it. it will never get the fair shake it deserves for its quality, and it's not just because of us (bronies), it's because of the name.
