Other than season 3, and just normal minor gripes here and there throughout the series, I've loved every season. Except 3 but not because of Twlicorn, though feel it coulda been done better. Season was short and didn't feel as lively I guess?

I genuinely still love the show, and even really like Glimmer now too. Her go with her gut stuff is a nice contrast to Twilight. I'd be happy for the series to just keep expanding with new interesting characters while keeping the old ones around for episodes and to help new characters. As long as it's done well, and I feel it has been overall, I wouldn't mind watching new episodes still in five years.

The only major merchandise I bought was most of the Funko vinyl ponies. Wish they didn't cancel the line cause I'd love a Glimmer one. So it's not like I'm some Hasbro drone. I do wonder if my perception of the show is skewed, but it makes me happy and I do groan or complain at some things.

I think I'm going to enjoy cute ponies doing slice of life things for a long time. They aren't perfect but the overall tone of the show still feels the same to me. It's far better than the Real Ghostbusters faired back in the day. That is if any of you guys are old enough to be familiar with ABC ruining their highest rated toon at the time.
