Starlight can do anything with her magic, she'd probably be able to go back in time and delete him from existence.

If 1000 Tireks absorb pony magic evenly then they would be very weak. Too weak to steal alicorn magic.
Starlight would easily defeat them.

starlight would probably just remember some sort of hax Spell to cause the tirek's to Destabilize/drain each other and kill them effortlessly by turning them into bombs Whenever they get within range of each other.

Twilight has never done things on the same scale as cadance shielding an entire city from sombra or raising the sun and moon, It makes sense because she's the youngest too.
The only villain that twilight has defeated on her own was starlight and i don't even remember twilight ever mentioning if becoming an alicorn made her stronger or if it just gave her wings.

Even his third form, where he got his first horn growth could probably be a significant challenge considering at that point he could already steal magic from a bunch of unicorns at once.
