Yes, for a show-accurate abuse vector, you have to create a vector in a vector software like Adobe Illustrator, which is what I use. Whether one starts from scratch or "edits" an existing vector, the principle is the same. Either create an original vector or "redo" the svg file on top of the parts of the extant vector you wish to edit, modifying the facial expression and eyes as fit, adding layered bruising with appropriate hue and gradient between the relevant layers alongside trickles of blood and transparent tears.

The show is essentially vector art, so quality abuse must be vector art.

My university provides free access to Adobe software, which is how I have Illustrator. If you attend uni, it may be worth investigating if you also have this benefit.

The learning curve is fairly steep and even after that the process somewhat laborious, but you know it is evident that the quality is worth it. It turns abuse edits into art.
