But yeah a game is a huge project specially when it comes to transformation games.

But the writing can also a huge task depending on how many variation of characters. If you want one character to turn into 6 different types of bimbos you'll need to write 6 different dialogues just for that one character, not to mention the art for all of them.

When tackling something like this it's really important to set a small realistic goal (Max so many characters, Max so many scenes, Max so many pages of dialogue) first and achieve it before going anywhere else.

I'll just attach this ancient screenshot from 2 years ago and you make your own conclusions, I don't want to make any new promises without having anything concrete, but giving each char a few simple stats that affected dialogue branching was in there from the start.

I don't think heavy influential player interactions will be in it, since that would require a lot of work, but maybe something Persona-like where you can spend your spare time grinding stats, only instead of your own, it's helping your classmates adjust to bimbohood by increasing their own numbers.

While the Game Maker Studio does allow for minigames like that, not only would the animation be extra work, I don't think 'combat' should be a thing in this sort of game.

Maybe for just sex scenes, but again, animation would be a whole other thing, for now I think it would be best to keep it to a story focused more traditional VN experience, maybe saving minigames/combat for some future project made in the same engine.

Nah, for real though, the size isn't REALLY an issue. I can scale the image down in Photoshop if I wanted it to look clean, the problem is it's being scaled down in engine and GMS is an idiot.

Before I start, I have to say that I am all over this different styles idea. It's a lot of fun seeing the girls portrayed differently!

As for the rest, the Twi abuse ends here, more or less. It's time to create some urgency in what has been a relatively slow paced series so far. A big win here is just the kick in the skirt she needs.
