wow , i knew that getting the different perspectives 'right' is the hardest part, since it is impossible to get every angle look like in the show.
So this is a real interesting approach, i just fear that it will look Very strange as soon as you notice this displacing during an animation.

Now that I know what to look for, it's noticeable on the eyes, and pretty obvious on the nose. For the types of shots the show uses, it's probably fine, since there isn't a lot of dynamism, but if you want cool sweeping shots where the camera rotates around the character or whatever, I feel like the distortion would need to be very carefully controlled or disabled entirely.
