Honest Apple sounds dumb, I'm sick of the "never listen to those smarmy critics, they don't know what they're talking about" plots. Hope that AJ is wrong and learns about having an opinion on something she isn't an expert in.

A Royal Problem has Glimmer using magic again but at this point I'll take a Celestia episode even with her. Probably gonna be okay.

Not Asking for Trouble could be interesting, unlike many I don't mind the yaks but agree that their introduction was kind of odd. Good that we'll be able to see Yakyakistan and actually get an insight into their culture.

Discordant Harmony I'm inherently biased against because I don't really like either of the characters involved and it's a pretty stock plot.

The Perfect Pear will fuck up if it keeps things vague or confirms that the parents are NOT dead.

Fame and Misfortune will be meta as fuck and thus divisive, but interesting idea.

Triple Threat is the first Spike episode. It has Ember and Thorax, but also a stock sitcom plot. I hope it isn't 20 minutes of Spike being retarded or freaking out. Genuinely sounds like it is supposed to be a Twilight episode, not a Spike one.

season 7 has been solid as fuck. the worst episode was fluttershy leans in but its still a solid 6 or 7/10. the synopsis of all bottled up made it look bad but it ended up being good

I'm not sure if I should tell you this, but I hated Flutter Brutter. and I had literally zero expectations. I was dreading both this episode and the one with Applejack's parents, I expected them to be complete shit. But I forced myself to watch Parental Glideance anyway, and I genuinely loved it. Now I'm kinda looking forward The Perfect Pear. Again, don't watch it expecting to find a perfect episode, it wasn't perfect, but I have to admit that I'm really happy I didn't skip it.

Her subjects pretty much ditched her for a much better living situation and she's still perma-love starved. Any attempts at revenge are gonna fall flat with how weak she is now. Thorax at this point could easily break her 1v1.

A Royal Problem, though it's only a half-worry. The episode can go great places thanks to the wonderful characters and setting, it's just that the writer needs to be on point. No easy-conflict OOC nonsense, the Princesses need to be consistent and the initial friendship problem/conflict needs to be believable. It's a shame that this is even a concern.
Celly having a nice role early this season gives me hope though, feels good

When I think redeemed Chrysalis I don't thinking literal butterfly princess. Again, whether it's done well is a big IF. But one I'd be willing to gamble on. The show's long been about dynamic change and big shake-ups and development of the status quo, running in place isn't its style (or its appeal, IMO).
