Seriously screw Canada.
What even is this scheduling.
>Season before the movie
>Try to kill the hype by ending half the Season in a single month
>>30034571
>last weeks episode

With true 1080p quality, you Treehouse posting mong.
Honestly though we can't do 2 cap threads a weekend with the Treehouse quality. At least let the cap threads follow regular schedule. I don't know though, I guess the people choosing to follow the actual schedule aren't even lurking /mlp/ at the moment
Man it's just not happening is it
>>30035508
Fluttershy Leans was just a really bad episode, and it got overshadowed easily with the other two.
Apart from bringing giraffes into the show, it hardly had any interesting content.
>>30035719
I wouldn't say it was bad.
I think it was just kind of mediocre.
Like, it didn't have any sting, but it didn't have any zing either. It just kind of filled the timeslot.
>>30035719
So, I leave it? I didn't plan on going through the whole episode cap by cap, but damn I thought I'd get one going.
I just hope this isn't the trend going forward with the leaked episode
>>30036004
It will be, unfortunately, and you're not the only one who's getting fucked by it...
Feel free to keep posting if you're up for it. These threads are kino.
>>30036004
Id say wait till the Monday when all 3 are done, then start.
>>30036252
Eh I don't know. I might do a few more then leave it. Maybe even just pick out certain caps and post them rather than the slow pace of cap by cap.
It's just a shame more people aren't around. I'm only doing this because no one else is.
>>30036270
It'll have to be someone else if it's on Monday. We already have all 3 episodes ready to cap desu, could even make one for the one that just aired on Treehouse but it sort of limits the number who'll really see it and it means 2 threads per week when we can barely hold one
I don't know, maybe next week we go with the leaks?

This is a shot of Ponyville we don't see often. I thought it was really interesting.
Oh also I can take webm requests if people have any. I'm no good at making stuff loop, but general webms I should be able to do

Say what you want about this season, but the backgrounds are so fucking detailed now.
Like, just for this one quick scene they even took the time to put in tufts on the grass in the background.
>>30036488
Yeah I think that shot is genuinely lovely

Didn't notice the fruit bats there in when I was watching, the visual callbacks are pretty tight this season too.
I'm downloading now so I can go through it again and maybe post a few screens.
>>30036559
I didn't either actually, that's pretty cool. But also must be a nightmare, given how they tend to eat any fruit within sight.
>>30036531
You know I can't really express the joy I felt seeing the 6 together here. They're lovely.
>>30036586
This was also really damn sweet. Rainbow seeing her (largely) lifelong friend not only speak with conviction but speak about a dream of hers evoked quite an emotion. Rainbow's already achieved hers, but we didn't really know what Fluttershy's was.
>>30036621
>>30036674
>>30036746
I'd go with Candy. Just because I don't think that Squirrel isnutsenough to eat a cotton ball

>>30036803
>>30036822
>>30036829
For realizes though, I'm kind of curious why the rest of the mane six didn't volunteer to help with their "experts"
They kind of seem to have just passed the buck and fucked off when their friend asked them personally for their help. Not saying that they're assholes or anything, but it seems kind of strange to me.
It's kinda sad that this episode is being ignored so badly. I think that it was really comfy, and it's one of the episodes where I liked Flutters the most.
>>30036886
I dunno, the premise was cool, but these three were criminally dense to the point where it kind of hurt the episode in my opinion.
I'm not one of those guys expecting the writing of the show to be on par with Breaking Bad or anything, but this episode could have benefited from a lighter touch and a bit more nuisance in the writing.
>>30036840
>>30036886
I really liked it too, for similar reasons.
>>30036864
They did say those Ponies would be a bigger help, and Pinkie, Rarity and AJ stuck around with the experts at the getgo. With the 3 on the job, I think it seemed sufficient and the others could really have just been called if necessary, but it just wasn't. I can't remember the exact dialogue but she asked the Main 6 for help, but didn't say she needed their specific help in doing it
>>30036964
Despite my complaints regarding the leadup to this point, this scene was pretty well done in my opinion.
>>30036964
She asked specifically for their help, more than once. Though she didn't have any issues with them bringing in experts.
It just seems weird, I don't see any reason why they wouldn't want as many hooves on the project as possible.
Also, Twilight and Rainbow are nowhere to be seen through half the episode. Which is especially weird considering how much this thing would normally be right up Twilight's alley.
Then again, I'm probably just being autistic and nitpicky.
>pic unrelated
This is nice

>She asked specifically for their help, more than once.
I'll have to rewatch it, but even then no one told her they didn't want to help. They just suggested experts.
And with 3 experts, is many hooves on the project really a good idea? Too many cooks spoil the broth and all that. Have we had an episode about that? Too many Ponies getting in on one thing and ruining it?
Not Suited for Success, but I feel like there's been one
The Builder expert had a team of 3, we saw. Him and 2 other Ponies. If the Main 6 were involved I'm not sure how much they'd really add.
>>30037066
The Lighting is actually really good in that scene. It's got a very distinct night time look, even ignoring the window

>Too many cooks spoil the broth and all that. Have we had an episode
It would take someone who is super out of touch with projects like these to think that sort of thing is remotely applicable to large scale terraforming and construction jobs like this. And I would imagine that the mane six should be aware of that fact considering we've seen them take charge and step into leadership positions for various things before.
Yes, too many cooks spoil the broth, that's true. But many hands, hooves in this case, also make light work. There's a big difference between construction and the culinary arts.
Again, this might be my autism kicking off from having worked on and managed similar projects of the same and larger scales in the past...

Bloody hell I genuinely didn't even notice.
Well, that's it for me. I appreciate this episode a little more after going though it like this to be honest.
Moral was nice too.
Oh, and before I forget to shill.
I'm running a thing over >>30033317 and I would love it if any lurkers could take a moment to check it out when they have the chance. There's a poll I have running there and I need all the responses I can get.
Have a wonderful night guys!
>>30037248
All that work was really for nothing, wasn't it?
>>30037221
The Builder Pinkie recruited actually has an entire workforce with him. I get your point the Main 6 could have assisted, but they were also going off what Fluttershy instructed them to and I guess she didn't ask them to do anything once she'd got the 3. Those 3 really were enough too. It wasn't really a huge project, I reckon she thought the small team was enough.
Also that cap is pretty relevant and actually reminded me of Castle Sweet Castle, where too many cooks did sort of spoil the broth.
>>30037250
We've seen Shorts and stuff but full blown pants like those, I'm not so sure. Rarity's done it and Google found me pic related, as well as a lot of other crap I'd probably have done better off not seeing
>>30036886
Daddy McColt looked at Flutershy's picture for a few seconds and recreated it perfectly.
>>30037366
Fluttershy should have called him from the getgo
Wonder why she didn't
>>30037411
She thought her friends would be enough and they provided their own "experts". Only after that Fluttershy realized she knew someone who could help them.
>>30037049
>Not SantuaREEEEEEEE
Come on
>>30037448
You think they'd have been able to do it without McColt?
>>30037666
It doesn't look complicated for them. They still did everything but with his guidance.

Again, glad we got through the episode. May not have got a lot of posters but it's something. Damn leafs.
Also what do you guys reckon should be done going forward? Screencap thread only for Discovery Family episodes, or just go for the Treehouse Schedule and make one as soon as the episode airs?
I'm not sure anymore
