Been watching since season 1, and except a hiccup with season 3 feel the show gets better every year.
Read and enjoyed every IDW comic since day 1 except the EQG related ones.
Read and enjoyed all of G.M. Berrow's books since the first one.

I know a lot has changed and many things have been lost along the way, but we'll never be able to be happy if we're unwilling to make the best of what comes to us. That doesn't mean critique is unwanted, but I'd really appreciate it if you would try to help people find something good to do with the changes rather than just pushing for all of them to go away. Keep in mind, this is coming from someone who thought season 6 was the worst in the show's history. Even when things are getting painful, the best we can do is move forward.

Because if we're the ones digging ourselves in, we can dig ourselves out again. I felt just as hopeless about the situation until I started to spend a little time with the rest of the fandom and remembered how easy it can be to turn a bad situation around if everyone is willing to try.

This community is autistic enough to mathematically calculate the speed of a sonic rainboom, create accurate 3D models of show props within 24 hours of their episode airing, and put a picture of Princess Luna in space. Compared to that, filling in a few gaps in the show should be no problem. If something you really hate happens, go ahead and vent a little- but don't live in those thoughts. You'll risk forgetting what you loved about MLP to begin with, as I nearly did.
