She should have pay more attention to the tv series. She should have known that only she, Larson and Rogers were competent enough to keep the series as true to the original early seasons. Haber and Vogel just turn it into Glimmer Show where even Discord is a minor sidekick to her episodes. The series was on a downward spiral since season 3.

Nothing ties together in a cohesive way, and if we go crazy and start adding sea ponies, it's just going to be a whole thing where their society is almost exactly the same, and this is the princess, and sea ponies respect land ponies.

It used to feel like ponies were surrounded by mystery and danger. The Everfree was full of things we had no idea about. The fact that ponies didn't watch over that land and tend to its animals was a big deal. But now we find ponies barely even know how to build a habitat for common woodland creatures. There are like zero magical creatures except the one or two we happen across for the plot once a season, and then those are dumber and weaker than most ponies so it's no big deal.

Meghan and Larson made Glimmer as a communist villain and she was awesome then. People were cumming entire week. Not just glimmerfags. ENTIRE BOARD was one huge Glimmerfag board. After Meghan and Larosn left along with S5 Haber took over. S5 finale was written by Haber. It was probably his beggining of the Glimmer story arc that started at the end of S5 and continue till this day. Meghan just approved it wihtout even watching this show.

She's now involved in development of multiple shows and I'm pretty skeptical she can focus solely on MLP like she used to with her current position.

Most of what made MLP good has been lost forever. One of the greatest appeals of MLP was the macroplot and worldbuilding, and that's been gone since forever, started getting deconstructed already in season 2.
Meghan may fix the individual episodes, but the Whole show has been tainted by all the terrible tthat have happened since season 3 and on.
