How do you feel about the Starswirl descendant headcannon?

I feel like the comics have been teasing us with the possibility of her heritage. There's also that cover with the two of them for no discernible reason.(why not just have it be Twilight who's fangirling over him?)
That's the comics though, they do their own thing. I do think it'd be an interesting plot point to explore at least.

This is my head cannon.
Star Swirl is an inter-dimentional being who is imortal and travels the planes of existance studying things. When he comes to Equestria he falls in love with a mare, (cause ponies are the cutest things in existance). When NMM takes over and goes to war so he takes his pregnant mare into the future to save her and his child from the horror of eternal night. When he arives, Celestia finds out what he is and banishes him for not helping with NMM and forcing her to send her sister to the moon for a thousand years.
