They fired her for putting her OC in the comic. Excuse was that Price and Cook got theirs in the show so it was okay...except other artists put their OCs in their work and didn't get fired.

The real problem was that she wasn't part of the Price/Cook/Mebberson/Fosgitt circlejerk that for some reason gets to decide who works on the comics and then Curnow bends over for them.
