Just got my Trixie in the mail today and I'm pretty darn pleased with her.

I'm a cheap shit who can't afford any of those billion dollar custom plushes, so I ended up settling for one of those Chinese fakes. Even if she's not some super-special hand-made creation, she's still great and powerful and that's good enough for me.

Also featured is Applejack, who I picking up two weeks ago for £5 from a local store that buys up unsold stock and resells it. She was a bit dirty and had a hole in her tail that was leaking stuffing, but a quick brush down and a little restitching had her looking good as new.

Still getting a few wrinkles, but only in a couple spots. Despite the edges feeling secure maybe I am being too cautious with my iron and not fusing the webbing to the fabrics in other areas. I can't imagine how else I could be doing this incorrectly.

If your talking about the wrinkles in the cotton, it's pretty normal to have some light rippling when the cotton is sewn down. It should mostly disappear once you stuff the head.

She's small enough I can hide her during the day. They don't know about her either. To be extremely honest, the only merch they know I have is a tiny Funrise Octavia plush they bought me. In addition to the two LS, Limestone, various other plushies, other merch, trip to Bronycon last summer, I've spent A LOT of money on this hobby they don't know about.

Yeah. If they find out about Limestone, no big deal. My parents are ok with me liking ponies more or less, they found out about 3 and a half years ago.

My mother thinks it's harmless, but I remember one time she asked me, "do you think you'll like it forever?" And I pretty much responded, "do you really think I have it planned out, like in 6-8 years I'll decide I'll stop liking it? If I like it, I like it. If I end up not liking it, well, I won't." I wasn't rude about it, just stating that you can't reasonably expect an answer when you ask someone if they'll someday not like what they currently like.

My dad really has never said anything about it, but it's not like since he found out he's ashamed in me or doesn't want anything to do with me. We go golfing (well, he golfs, I caddy, and we bullshit the entire time), we go to the beach, I join him when he goes grocery shopping, it's just an aspect of my life he's just not interested in.

I do in fact have a job lined up, but I'm currently staying home to save money. My parents actually actively encourage me to stay home and save, because that's what they did, and they have a nice retirement bundle to show for it. Perhaps in the next 2-3 years if I start making a decent chunk of change, can start putting money away for retirement, work on paying off my loans, and have money left over, I'll look into getting an apartment. Also, this job is not the end all for me. I truly hope to move more into the industry within the next 2-3 years, so if it takes me somewhere, the pones go with me.

One college friend who lives relatively near me back home (we both went to college at the same school in western NY, but we both live in NJ about 20 miles apart) got a nice job near me, so he said he'd be interested in getting an apartment with me and his gf (who is also a friend of mine). But as for now, that's a few hundred a month I can save in rent, utilities, food, ect.

If I'm ever in any position where I need to give the pones a new home, you all will be the first to find out.

So I've been snuggled up with my BaB Pinkie while working on my final paper for a writing course for a bit, and I just noticed she feels rather warm. I know body heat can transfer through plushies and make them feel warmer, but something about my Ponka feels... different.

I can't describe exactly how it feels, but it's like she has her own energy. I can feel something radiating off of her. It's odd, but very comforting. Soothing, even. It almost feels like she's alive.

Also, It looks like you reduced the size of the head piece but not the head gusset. You may want to do that or the lengths are not going to match up when you go to assemble the head. You're also going to need to compensate for the missing neck length from shrinking the neck piece and that bit at the back of the head gusset or else you're going to get some mad puckering when you go to attach the head.

I did reduce the size of the gusset, as well as the horn, ears, and those sort of triangular pieces. I'm not sure why it looks that way. As for the neck, I added a faint red line that marked a narrower neck before I printed.The rest of the changes I'll pattern by hand. I did that with a plush last week and it worked out alright.

I'll try to help from experience with BaB ponies. The wings you probably can't do much with, the inside seems like they're lined with some kind of foam padding and stayed in position with some firm white material that almost seems cardboard like. The hair needs combed, but I would suggest doing that during or after handwashing. Assuming a little detergent is added to the water, it will help make the hair softer and easier to untangle when it soaks in, start combing from the bottom. Unfortunately for the snoot, you'll likely need to open her up and rearrange the filling to get the shape back, trying to press it back from outside would be a challenge.

Oooohh no. There's plenty of problems with Agatrix. Luna's from 2015, I got in line right after she arrived to get Nightmare Moon. She...changed her pattern, in the 14 months of wait list without saying anything. Them giant hoovieses make it hard to play pretty pony princess dressup. For some reason, she decided the pony taht shares Celestia's model should have no neck and the smallest muzzle she's ever done. Apparently you guys always asking for soft stuffed means THAT'S her default now, instead of firm...and I LIKE how firmly stuffed Luna is.

She also long ago seemed to stop really caring about getting things right. Nightmare's buttmark doesn't line up anymore, and her wings are...one's sort of on her side, and the other's on the center of her back for some fucking reason. She's also started using wires in the tails and the manes because...I don't even know why.

I suppose the biggest source of this autism fit is that she can't be fucking bothered to learn enough English to establish any sort of communication with her damn customers.
