What bothers me is that she's a foal but she's really responsive, she comprehends almost everything that's happening around her and makes decisions based on it, not to mention being deliberate and precise with her magic. She's a really really smart foal, she just can't speak yet.

Now the question is, are they going for it with her future development in mind or was it just because they didn't want to repeat Baby Cakes too much?
