I live with this dissonance on this board every day. I can SEE where both sides of divisive topics are coming from. I can understand the people who want Equestria Girls banned, and I can understand the people who rebuke this and defend its presence on the board. I can understand those who say the show and has gone to shit and have stopped watching, and I can understand those who say if you no longer watch you aren't a true fan. But, like with most arguments, you have to eventually pick a side.

To make it clear, when it comes to Equestria Girls I view it as most definitely part of the MLP franchise and should be allowed on the board, and trying to ban it: a) flies in the face of past examples where banning things drops the board's participation levels, b) would open a can of worms on what can and can't be posted, and c) would make the mods' jobs that much harder and more complicated. I also view Anti-EqGfags as always being more in the wrong by claiming this is "their" board when they do not own, moderate, or pay for its upkeep, and the fact that they're usually the ones trying to tell others what they can and can't like or talk about, whereas everyone else is content to live and let live.
