Updates! Or more specifically, edits!

Some anons have been asking me for an update, and I have not written one yet.
This is because I took a few days to polish up what I already have in my pastebin, as well as re-writing many, many sections; again, this is either to capture the scenes better, or to flesh out the details in said sections.

I would recommend re-reading 'Because I Choose To' if you have been following the updates, especially for Insp Anon's first day with Starlight, as my writing style was less developed then (precisely why I needed to edit them).

So I will leave it up to you if you want to re-read, but I will recommend it anyways.

I am happy with my green now (I literally read and edited it from start to what I have now), and am ready to tackle an update. You can look forward to one within the next two days.

Generally, I also fixed a lot of the technical issues of my writing for the first day that Insp Anon got her. Again, I would recommend reading from the beginning, but it is your call.

I’m looking at these designs and there’s something about both that seems off. Maybe its due to personal interpretation, but neither of these designs strike me as what Glimglam would wear. For the most part, the design team for EqG have tried to capture the personalities of the characters with their wardrobes, but neither of these strike me as Starlight Glimmer. I dunno, I kinda see Glim wearing something a bit more “regimented” in its design, I mean, she ran a cult for a while and those typically have strict dress codes. Maybe something like a casually worn blazer with a long-sleeve shirt underneath, jeans or long pants. Stuff that doesn’t stand out or blends in easily in a crowd. Clothes that don’t draw attention, then have something on them that denotes her.

Yeah, that works too. I going off of an old exercise I did back in high school where we had to design a character and have their clothes the their story. Basically, what I’m picturing is someone trying to move on with their life. She’d still wear her old uniform because she can’t let go of her past even though the thing only makes her feel bad. She’d have little things like shirts with little designs or logos that show she’s embracing new things and broadening her view, but it’d be under the jacket or hanging off her belt. Stuff she’d put on over or underneath the uniform. And somewhere amidst all of it there’d be something from Trixie and something from Sunset since this is EqG we’re talking about.
