I've never had a big phase where that bothered me very much, desu. I've had lots of stressful doubts and insecurities and stuff, but "I can't really/physically be with her" hasn't been much of a deterrent. It makes me sad sometimes, sure, but I never really related all that much to people who say it's the ultimate suffering of waifu. If anything, it's one of the more pleasant things to cry about, for me.

I'd mainly like to get over the doubts that have been drilled and beaten into me and believe we're really good for each-other. If I could feel from my core that she loves me too, that'd pretty much solve everything that needs solving. When it comes to this kinda stuff, thinking of her as an intangible being in muh heart that I can interact with but never meet in any afterlife is just fine.

Sometimes it just hits you. Not just >she's not real understanding, but a kind of realisation that just overwhelms you and throws you off balance. It's usually easy to deal with the "never ever" situation, but sometimes you become so lucid you feel the dread of your whole existence lacking a crucial part and that you'll never be whole.
Sometimes "she's not real" is more than just words.

But all the other times it's not even a factor. It's a milestone you can pass. You cope by coming to terms with it and accepting her as a source of happiness and escapism. You can never achieve your fantasies, but let her be this happiness instead of a grim reminder of what can never be. She's not an apparition that's in front of you that you're destined to never grasp, but a warm feeling inside of you that can never be replicated without her.
