Skullgirls is an amazingly well done game but damn did it pick the short stick on audience.

It's a game that pushes in your shit HARD unless you're really into MvC2 and Vampire Saviour, good at both.

Actually, Skullgirls has absolutely no infinite combos. They have 2 systems in place to make sure that's literally impossible UNLESS you get a double-outtake (a massive fuckup on player's part).

For the most part, it's just guessing hell where people intentionally fuck up in combos to allow you to do shit and you must do the correct shit or they'l get a new combo going and fuck you up for good.

I think the SWRPG system is good for beginners.
It's simple mechanically but it requires both the GM and the players to be creative and descriptive.

It's one flaw is that you can easily get fucked by one or two surprised attacks and be killed by mooks and the reverse is also true, you can kill some powerful enemies before they even have time to act.

It's a great idea but Sims is one of those games that are hard to "click".
I can't even think of any copycats of them despite the fact the games being ridiculously simple in premise and likewise implementation (any programmers here should read the things written on the sim AI, or how they built the thing to allow for easy addition of items through expansion discs, marvelous simplicity and it works amazingly).

There's really no point to be close, is there? I thought being "friends with benefits" with someone damaged in a similar way to me would have been good enough, but us getting close to each other just made us both worse; I can't handle my problems and now I'm too intimate to theirs as well.
