Lord knows how many times I had that problem in WT. You use the rudder on the Dauntless the smallest bit and she suddenly decides she's an AE86. It really isn't all that much of a problem on wide open maps, since really you only need to kick the rudder the other direction and hold it there for a couple seconds, but when it happens on the really mountainous one, it really can get pretty fucking tedious. And for me, that's exactly where it happens, every single time. It might just be that the arcade flight model might be a bit iffy. Maybe the simulator mode doesn't have the problem. I don't play simulator because I'm a complete pleb who sticks with a joystick because muh "realism." Either way, it's really fucking spooky when that shit happens in a simulator, and I don't wanna know what it's like IRL.

Warning sirens blared loudly as her engines roared to life.
How?
She had barely slipped out of mach 1 when an enemy bogey had lit her up with their radar. She had to climb! She had to accelerate! But, as her engines roared to life, the enemy wasn't just keeping up, it as gaining on her!
'That's impossible...' she thought, as her very frame shook from the incredible power bellowing from her exhausts. 'Nobody is faster than me! Not even Valk can keep up when I go full power!'
But he did. A plane she'd never seen before leveled off at around FL410 and tracked her. She might have altitude but he kept pace. Worse yet, he kept radar lock. He could fire at any time. She had a few counter measures but they were nothing compared to her speed. If she didn't have--
A garbled radio communication pulled her attention front and center. Was it the AWACS? Had they gotten a positive ID on the pursuer? Could they scramble an escort in time?
She adjusted her frequencies to try and find whatever one the broadcast had been on. When she finally found a channel that wasn't static, she heard a voice that made her fuel lines run cold.
"Hey buddy....still alive?"
It was--

I judge the amount of time I've been asleep with the number of bumps plone general has gotten. I rarely know even the approximate time I fall asleep, and this has proven itself pretty reliable. One bump is a light-good sleep, two to three bumps is a deep fulfilling sleep and any more than that means there's something wrong. Two times now, I've figured that I was sick due to the amount of time I slept, so by extension the plone thread. As soon as I wake up, before I go to the bathroom or do anything at all I check the plone thread to see how long I've slept.
